Neon Reef - any views?

I left Neon in July and received a final bill on time but no refund of my credit. They refuse to answer any communications.

Has the supplier notified you they are refusing to communicate with you?HonestJohn said:I left Neon in July and received a final bill on time but no refund of my credit. They refuse to answer any communications.

Or are you just simply still waiting for a reply?

Still no initial bill or engagement from Neon Reef, despite at least 2 requests, and providing them with numerous meter readings during the month. Perhaps if I cancel my 2nd direct debit due out on Wednesday...
(I will still be in credit after paying my 1st dd)0 -
If I recall correctly they do have a condition in their T&C's that allows them to charge you a fee if there is no active direct debit on your account. I'm wanting to change the bank I use for my DD but don't want to cancel the existing one for that very reason (and they are not replying to my messages).Deleted_User said:Still no initial bill or engagement from Neon Reef, despite at least 2 requests, and providing them with numerous meter readings during the month. Just been switched over from avro to octopus this week but the rates are colossal. Thinking of moving to neon reef, but bit worried it might be a bad time! Any views folks?
Thinking its probably worth the risk for me as I use a boatload of electric at my place, roughly 18,000KWH PY.1 -
I was in the exact same situation. When I switched I thought they were not going to last past the day of my switch, luckily they are still going nearly 2 weeks later and I'm hoping by some miracle that will continue!themaidenmaniac said:Just been switched over from avro to octopus this week but the rates are colossal. They are very quick to switch you over too - 8 days after signup I went live.2 -
@BigBlueSky In MY terms and conditions, there is a clause allowing me to charge an equal fee for not responding to any correspondence. 😉Surely, by natural justice if nothing else, such a condition should be rendered null and void by the supplier not meeting its own contractual responsibilities, that has, in itself, led to such a customer action. Can we protest as a ‘class’, rather than individually?0

Yes, but they didn't agree to your T&C'sDeleted_User said:In MY terms and conditions, there is a clause allowing me to charge an equal fee for not responding to any correspondence. 😉Surely, by natural justice if nothing else, such a condition should be rendered null and void by the supplier not meeting its own contractual responsibilities, that has, in itself, led to such a customer action.
I agree though, if they are failing to action your requests within a reasonable amount of time then they are already breaking a condition of what is reasonable.0 -
Thanks Bluesky, i'll give it a shot!!! The 6 up 6 down thing looks a bit weird but happy days if it works out at 17p ish per unit...!BigBlueSky said:

@BigBlueSky But they did not disagree, when I forewarned them twice.
