Very pleased to report that finally NR have set up my dd. However I joined on the 11 Oct and taking the first payment on the 11/12/2021. I have worked out I have so far used £35.00 worth of electricity and the dd amounts will be £82.95 per month.0

Previously messages to them took 14 days to receive a reply, so I'm expecting a reply/action from them by Tuesday next week if the timescales are no worse.0 -
I joined Neon Reef using a referral code. Are they usually good with honouring referrals or should I pre-emptively get them to confirm the referral credit before the first bill is issued?0

they have chased it up and will pay "as soon as possible". Feels very much like a holding operation.
Frankly that is the least of our worries in the current situation. In the remote event they are still in business
by the end of the year , or gasp...survive into the New Year, we can remind them again.2 -
Shedman said:So I guess thats another week survived. Just submitted the monthly meter reading...really didn't expect to be submitting it to NR by now but glad its the case and long may it continue (although I really can't see how).NR are one of those reported as having defaulted out of Elexon's BSC system:For both Neon Reef and Orbit Energy, they have been removed from the BSC for failing to sufficiently reduce their Credit Cover Percentage. They follow a number of companies who have defaulted out of the system – which means that they cannot register new customers – with the majority failing shortly after.

The real question though is have Neon Reef noticed yet, and do they actually care...Feels like the lights are on but nobody is at home...Which given that their last filed accounts states they have no employees, may actually be true...1

@MWT Have you seen the other NR thread?0

The clever money would suggest that Neon Reef will be forced into administration on or before this coming Wednesday. It's now gone way too far to have any other outcome.Once again if Ofgem had been half competent and carried out full due diligence checks before issuing Operators Licenses a lot of these companies wouldn't have been allowed to exist in the first place.2
