  • I'm in too for at least a few days this week.
Hugs for Daisydoll and pigpen and anyone else in need this morning.
Welcome to the thread new folks!

I've got 2 whole days off work and the intention is to get all my present and food shopping out of the way. I'll fly later this evening depending how I get on.
The house isn't too bad after last week's big push which exhausted me to the point of tears on Wednesday trying to squeeze things in around work and waiting for payday.
One washload done and last night's tea dishes- I'm with you on this one embb, I just walk away from the kitchen and need to get into the habit of doing it before bed again.
One more cuppa and a quick shower by which time the traffic to the Metro Centre will have died down a little.. grim..

Have a useful day all, catch you all later I hope.

PS good luck with the application Sexymouse and hurrah to Rach for finding somewhere nice to move to!

I am in again, but mean to actually get some stuff done this week if both littles can stay poorly free.

SCHOOL DINNERS - sorry forgot the name of who asked. My DD1 started school in september too, she has a school dinner on a Thursday as she has swimming after school and she loves it. She is a good eater anyway, but I know people who have had littles with eating issues who once they start seeing what their friends are eating quite happily tuck in too. I would say maybe try it once a week and see if she how it goes.

DD2 is sticking and glueing so got half hours peace (hopefully) so will stick some music on, pop the kettle on and get on with it.

Sorry and big hugs to everyone who has lost a pet over the weekend, I know how upsetting it can be.

    Morning all.

Sorry for those who have lost pets. It will be 2 years on 20th December that I had to have my cat put to sleep, she was almost 18. I still feel guilty even though my head tells me I did the right thing.

And thinking of you too lil_me. Whenever I hear about someone being killed in Iraq or Afghanistan I cry. I don't have to know them, or even know their names, I just think about their families.

Anyway, two loads of washing done, including throws from living room. Managed to hang it out today.

Kitchen/diner done - probably about level 2 and a half ;) Also damp wiped living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. Did the stairs too because I normally forget them so it will help tomorrow.

I've written myself a list of the stuff I need to do at the post office - two cards to go to USA/Canada, one parcel to post, and I need a few more stamps for cards. Can't go until I've had a parcel delivered so I hope that will come today.

Got woken up at 4 am by the dog barking really loud. She's practically stone deaf so I don't think she heard anything, we reckon she had a bad dream. She was just yawny and groany when I went down and I couldn't see anything outside. Never heard any more from her but I couldn't get back to sleep after that. I'll be hanging by this afternoon!

Welcome to the newbies too :)
