I have been where you are with the relative. I spoke to my Mum In Laws GP on the phone and explained our concerns, then we got her to go for a quick age related check up as she was a lollypop lady and the doc was brilliant. This was years ago but Im sure you can do similair. Saved all that talking about her while she was in the room. I wont be having the app installed as I dont have tinterweb out of the house and hubbys phone is one of those 'old chap' phones lol. You sound as if you are a lot more focused this week, well done despite all the worry from 'you know what'
    Hello Ginnyknit

Aw, thanks for that, I did reach out for help and advice, and got relative to GP for a check up. GP was brilliant, so kind and patient. I think he's reassured the relative's worries, although we are waiting for various tests to be done first, so we don't know if they are going to be ok yet. I guess it's all part of life...

Ha! I wonder how many other people are 'excluded' from this app, simply because they are the same (no smartphone, or internet connected mobile, or, even a mobile and not wanting either). I know several people who have no mobile phone, and 'horrors', 'only have' a land-line. They tell me they are looked at like something akin to suspicion, or, as belonging to the age of dinosaurs for ignoring 'progress'.... And as for those who willing confess to having no e-mail - they are looked at as complete liars! Lol! :D

Ha, ha! I know that feeling.... just me and the furry little hound, only she doesn't talk back to me when I speak to her, and cannot get her paws used to the tiny buttons on the mobile.... :D

    Hey Skinty
I am not that fussed, if anyone decides to give me their old one, if they upgrade from theirs.  From what I have googled, they can quickly become useless as an incentive to get the next shiny new one.... (Quickly to me meaning less than 5 years! On codger time!!). Whereas the land line soldiers on and on quite happily not needing any upgrade, unless I go deaf, need giant sized buttons, etc... in my decrepitude.... he he, may that be a long way away....

I think they are sending out a pack of trained haggis - they are out wandering the crofts now with messages tied to their legs... :D

    Hey Swan
You see, I knew there were others out there! Thanks for that, I think it's more Hobson's choice, as the only one not at work/living nearest... I do actually want to help though!

Raining non-stop, it feels like I am living in Scotland, ha! I will be looking out for a snorkel and flippers when I have to walk the hound, at this rate.... :D
