I don't get the big deal over Netflix. I took out a subscription myself a couple of months back under pressure from the kids but I'm struggling to find much I really want to watch. It's ok but I'd happily do without it. Be glad when they've tired of it tbh!

I got nothing to say, just well done! I was annoyed by some of the judgements but credit to you for taking ownership. It is difficult times for everybody, personally I been reducing my food bills. We spend about 60 a week for a young family of 4 before covid, now 80.

I'm glad you're finding work and the immediate pressure is off but I also hope you've managed to tackle some of the bigger ticket/longer term spending patterns that were stretching you like holidays, car and food even if you don't want to share here so you can build some reserves for the future, both for the unexpected (not that anyone could expect Coronavirus) and your retirement (its coming to us all !). The payment holidays, whilst understandable, are storing the problems up if you don't create some leeway.
Do you have NextDoor - we have lots of people currently offering to do odd jobs, repairs along the lines of make do and mend not just brand new stuff. Might be someone who could patch the shed up to get a while longer out of it. People say what they need doing and locals give suggested names. A new shed right now probably won't get too many votes from your supporters.
Why not ditch Sky altogether if you prefer Netflix - have a few months of Netflix and then maybe get Sky back on a good deal when you've been away for a while.
    Good luck
