Thank you. I have been chased this morning by the sales agent as KR have not requested the valuation yet. It is very stressful isn't it.PoppySoper said:We applied with KR 3 weeks ago Monday our valuation was last Wednesday from checking our check my file they didn't actually look at our credit files until the 12th and asked questions on the 13th we replied the same day by 10am. Still waiting to hear something else.0 -
Just been told all documents have been satisfied by underwriter requested most recent bank statement and apparently have a query with valuation (that was done 2 weeks ago) crossing my fingers and toes!0

Okay just a quick heads up because we completed last Friday, only we very nearly didn’t because I got a phone call at 12 o’clock from my solicitor to let me know that Kent reliance had not added the application fee to the mortgage and therefore the funds of been sent were £1000 short could I send it over ?Now as luck would have it I did and everything went ahead but honestly if that ever happened to me when I was a first time buyer 20 years ago everything would’ve fallen apart.0

Hopefully you have now received your offer? Ours is still ongoing. Application was only submitted last Thursday (we have been told it had been submitted weeks ago). Kent have come back asking for some more info. They want my husbands signed work contract but he doesn't have one as there are only 3 of them working for the company. Asking about some transactions on my bank statement. I am hoping they accept the letters from his director. Valuation is booked for 16th May. I am really hoping they won't need much more info from us. I'm keeping everything crossed.PoppySoper said:Just been told all documents have been satisfied by underwriter requested most recent bank statement and apparently have a query with valuation (that was done 2 weeks ago) crossing my fingers and toes!0 -
Has anyone used Kent recently? We’ve just put in for our shared ownership mortgage, praying we don’t get a decline0

We recently used KR we had our first mortgage declined due to my other half having gambling transactions but second application after 3 months went through fine with no problemsmd64 said:Has anyone used Kent recently? We are now on week 11 of waiting with Kent. Was chased yesterday and they are saying another 4-5 working days before our application is reviewed. They review our application then come back asking for more documents and put us back to the bottom of the pile. So stressful. I hope yours goes through quicker than ours.md64 said:Has anyone used Kent recently? We’ve just put in for our shared ownership mortgage, praying we don’t get a decline0 -

@shellk82 wow 11 weeks! We’re meant to exchange in 28days! What sort of documents do they ask for? Our broker had already told us to expect a request for more docs. If we have to wait 11 weeks our credit should be good enough to go high street due to the dates on a default and pay day loan.0
