Have you had your valuation done yet ?
  • I'm not sure, I've asked my mortgage broker for an update today. We applied on 1st April. How about you?

We applied on April 6th and had our valuation today. Hopefully if they done our valuation they are happy with everything else.
  • Have you applied to them directly or through a broker? I'd definitely feel encouraged once the valuation is done.

Through a broker but it was the estate agent who called this morning to say they had collected the keys for a valuation.

I am so worried because I got declined after the valuation a few months ago so praying this time it goes through.
  • Just heard back from our broker and due to the valuation, we can't get a mortgage on that house. They did point out that they were perfectly happy with us as applicants though, so they've obviously done that bit of underwriting first.

Ah never ! Did you offer over the guide price ? Or did the valuation down value it ?
