It took a good few weeks for me and apparently it’s the quickest they’ve ever had to work as I was constantly on their backs about stuff and chasing things up on their behalf which they hated lol
mine would have been all complete in a week if it wasn’t for an error on the land registry.

    stay hot on their backs!

Has anyone had to apply for an extension to KR mortgage offer and if so did you get it and how long it lasted for?

Hi, Not sure if this thread is still being used but I am new here. We are in the process if applying for a mortgage with KR. We submitted all of our paper work to our mortgage adviser 3 weeks ago and are still waiting. My husband has a couple of things on his credit report (late payment with EE when his contract ended, not on electoral roll for current address and 2 missed car finance payments). The EE payment has been made and he has completed the form for the electoral roll and car finance company have confirmed that this was their fault in writing. We are now waiting for his credit report to be updated. We are trying to buy a 40% share of a shared ownership house. I am so nervous as everything is moving with surveys etc but mortgage no updates on the mortgage. I am just so worried we won't get the mortgage. Does anyone have any idea of turn around times for KR at the moment? Thank you

From reading this thread, turnaround times vary considerably. I got my offer in March 2 weeks after applying but I know some others have taken longer. What does your mortgage broker say?

My mortgage broker seems to think a 28 day extension should be granted but I’m not in the position where I’ve had to apply for one yet

He said he is chasing them everyday and will let me know when he has an update. It is just so stressful waiting
