Thank you very much all of you. I will open up my pc and look in what space is available. I think I will have to take the hdd out and put the ssd in its place. I will backup all my data first obviously and then have to do a clean install of win10 from the recovery disk, I had created earlier. Is it the right way to do. I haven't done it before.
    Thanks
No need to remove the old HDD. SSD doesn't need a dedicated slot.

Subsequently, there is no reason to back up any data, since it is still intact on the old HDD.
If you want to have them both connected at the same time, you may need to buy a SATA cable.

    A couple of examples;

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50cm-SATA-3-Locking-Plug-to-Right-Angle-Plug-6Gb-High-Speed-Cable-Lead-UK-SELLER/264755109370?hash=item3da4a25dfa:g:q-4AAOSwW5Je20v5

Best thing for you to do is to simply pull the SATA cable from the HDD and connect it to the SSD:

That way there is no chance of you accidentally overwriting anything on the old HDD. Once you have clean installed the OS on the SSD, you can reconnect the HDD.

Creating the Windows 10 USB flash drive

    1. Visit the Microsoft Media Creation Tool website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10
    2. Click Download Tool Now.
    3. Save the Application.
    4. Plug your USB Flash Drive into the PC where you saved the application.
    5. Run the Application.
    6. Accept the EULA
    7. Select Create installation media for another PC and click Next.
    8. Choose the correct settings for your version of Windows 10
    • Language (Country)
    • Windows 10
    • 64-bit (x64)
Click Next.Select USB Flash Drive and click Next.Select the Flash Drive and click Next.

Allow the application to complete. You will be prompted when it is finished and has successfully created the bootable drive.

Who suggested the Kingston?? Not I. They used to be an absolute shower. Though apparently, a firmware update fixed the issue.

I think you will find a multitude of bad reports about that drive.
I would hit the Cancel button and reorder.

These things are small and thin, no wight and no moving parts, in a desktop that is not geting moved about there is usually a bit of space to just have it sitting in the case,
1 or 2 mountings in a drive space might be handy but with dell not always,
I had some velcro sticky pads and used them

    Integral P have been ok.
They may have applied the firmware update to the Kingston drive. So it may be ok now. I knew someone who had one and I advised to look for any firmware updates. He did so and claims that it has stopped freezing.

I wouldn't buy one anyway. The fact that they released it that way in the first place is enough for me.

I noticed an awful lot of space occupied on drive C. A typical Win 10 install and home/office programs use between 50 and 100GB, your drive C appears to be using over 300GB.

Have you run Bleachbit or CCleaner to clear out unwanted temp files, cache, etc?

A dual core processor coupled with a spinning disk hard drive will be sluggish at best, but a cleanup may help ahead of adding an SSD.

Thank you. Would do that. But I have lots of pictures and videos. I think I will move all pictures and videos to an external drive. Ok let me run bleachbit and see.
    Thanks once more

When I made a mistake in ordering from mymemory a few months ago, I phoned them and they were happy to acept the goods being returned.  I think they even gave a freepost address for the return and a full refund within a few days.
