Unable to Cancel AA Breakdown membership

AA took £169 out of my account after i cancelled my break down over the phone 3 days earlier before the year term was up, They said it was cancelled and that they would not take money from my account, alas they took out a years renewal membership of £169.00. last year it was £40. how can i get this money back please

One phone call should sort it - to the bank for DD, to the AA for card. Have you tried that...?0 -

3 days is probably not enough time to cancel a continuous payment 7 working days is probably the minimum - you'll have to give them a call and ask for a refund.
