My father received an £80 refund from Jelf. Not a scam.

Super helpful posts here, everyone - specially sandtree & dunstonh - love the 'tin foi'l recco from the latter
To business... we received an original offer letter from Jelf on August 5th and decided to go the 'full account review' route using Form B, as we had our policy much longer than the 2012 date referenced. We had a reply back well inside the 8 weeks review timing as follows: "We have been unable to verify whether any cheaper alternative policies were available to you at the time. The information we have found in your file is limited and in some instances missing, which does not allow us to compare the cost of your policies with alternative quotations. We cannot therefore complete a full review of your file."
I had called the help line prior to requesting the 'full account review' - the lady was pleasant and indeed helpful - and the only thing she mentioned was that my DOB was missing - which she rectified. Not sure what other info could be missing that would affect the review, so sounds like a standard 'that's all, folks' reply...
I then accepted the original offer using Form A, requesting bank payment rather than a cheque - thinking this might be faster (and more convenient than going to a bank in these Corona-affected times. However... Form A went off on September 18th and nothing has hit our account yet
Has anyone on the forum gone the bank transfer route, and how long did it take to process?

Ref. kebleman 22nd October.
Outcome of review. Exactly the same wording on my response letter re. Information limited/missing. How surprising! I have been offered less than £35.00 refund in total having had insurance continuously from 2012 to present day. This years renewal in May, with Marsh, was £200/300 pa less than I had previously paid. Also Companies have to keep records for 7 years, so mine and kebelman’s are missing?
Not thinking of accepting the refund as it stands, the phone call I made requires me to supply the history back to 2012. Guess what I’ve got it all, but the envelope supplied is a bit small. Watch this space. 🤔
