    £140 off today (eBay sales).

    In other news, a solicitor is nearly appointed for my son. House is pretty tidy. 4 new ex battery hens ordered! (This will be our 3rd batch and my birthday present from my parents). Still waiting for Bulb refund. House insurance was £101 with £23 cashback (so £78 this year).

    Now:

    Mortgage - £36,400.00

    Interest - £52.98 (before today’s overpayment) 

    Savings - £25

    ISA - £25

    Hey just coming here to say good luck and I will be subscribing to your thread!  I hope you clobber this mortgage properly.  My sister is in a similar situation to you (selfish self obsessed ex, my sister raising 3 amazing kids one with SEND) so my heart really goes out to you and will be cheering you on.

    Shopping from Lidl today - £24. Hopefully that will last until next Tuesday. Jamie Oliver’s veg chilli for tea (from the freezer). 

    Interest has dropped 19p a month due to yesterday’s payment!

    In surprise news, I’m owed £98 from the taxman! This week’s eBay sales are at £62 with 2 days to go...

    An extra tax credit this morning (to make up for a miscalculation somewhere). So another £130 off.
