Nowadays you can often get an estimate of cost to so you can do the repair v replace decision with all the facts before committing to a repair. Seems like you’ve been unlucky with your oven to have thy many things go wrong. Once you’ve got a decent EF going and possibly a few ’pots’ for the things you’ll be in a really decent place. Plus if you’re anything like me, the less odd bits going out of your account to various companies Just makes your bank account look messy 🤣 much better to be able to have it going to your savings account 😄

Hi,
I managed to change my Child Benefit payment from weekly to monthly today and its now paid direct to my EF so that's £140 a month, the £35 a week seemed to just go missing lost in my main account. My next few jobs are to cancel the SO for my loan, close my Very account (£0 balance) and my Next account (£5.50 in credit).
I had £3.50 pay out from Quidco last night, waiting for that to arrive in Paypal and I will withdraw to EF.
I am really excited for everything to start in July, new budget and much more organised finances

Morning,
Spoke to First Direct this morning after worrying about it for a week. They were lovely have put a 60 day 'breathing space' on the account and have taken my SC reference. They said this won't affect my Bank Account which is great as I really like First Direct. I then spoke to Very who said they didn't know if they could close my Account as they didn't know if the Account closures team was working??? sound like fibs to me. My next job is to close Next account.
I am going to go through all my old paperwork today and have a good clear out. I think it will be a relief to not have it hanging around and I am only moving forward now not reflecting on the past.

My first creditor letter came today in relation to my DMP from Tesco, even though my offer payment was £10 over the minimum payment on my account they have frozen the interest and issued a default. This is good news I believe. They have also said that they won't be contacting me again

So today I managed to sort through two ‘bags for life’ full of old statements and bills, felt so good. Tidied up under the stairs cupboard, but haven’t found my Starling Bank card, which I’ve never used, so need to order a new one as thats now my EF and spending pots
