    Thank you
Nobody knows about my debt and DMP except SC and this Forum. I don't know who I could talk to about it really. I don't have a lot of very close friends who I would feel happy disclosing this too and I definitely couldn't tell my parents. My sister might be most supportive but she lives very far away and has a lot going on herself and I wouldn't want to burden her with my problems

I understand Natlie. I was the same when I had my debt, eventually I told my mum and she completely understood, talked to me about her own debt issues she'd had when she was younger. I think there's more people with debt than we think.

I just mentioned it as it must be hard to carry it all own your own shoulders. Just make sure you're looking after yourself x

@Baileys_Babe I know, almost there, focusing on saving now while paying off the last bit of debt at £60 per month :D

Thank you for the tips @ImpulseSpender and @Baileys_Babe I will breakdown my grocery budget and have a look at the small things thread. I have a confidential employee support scheme through work so I could use that If things get too much

Depression is a very much misunderstood condition. Is your OH getting treatment and support? I only ask because a very close relative suffered from this and although he had a very good doctor it was only when he got some help from a support group that he started to move forward. You seem to dealing with a lot on your own and it is not easy.
    Hi,

unfortunately not, he sees the Dr every 6 months and they talk about how he is and then tell him to stay on his medication. He’s had no counselling. He won’t join a group because he’s really anxious in public and rarely leaves the house. This has been life for 11 years.

I'm sorry to hear @natlie that your husband hasn't been offered some support. Has either of you looked into online support? Medication is helpful but it is better if it can be used in combination with other treatments.

My OH has health problems which cause him to be mentally distanced from us for months at a time. I hope you have a support network IRL to help you with the isolation.

Well done @natlie on having the money to pay the insurance for the year and it is included in your SOA to cover future years
Do you have a plan as to how you are going to repay the emergency fund?

    Hi @Baileys_Babe
Thank you, I have a box room of stuff that I need to sell on eBay or FB Marketplace, I’ve been avoiding it after a failed car boot sale. I could look for some other bits too. I have a garage full of junk I could look through too, I know there’s a nice Child’s high chair in there.

I've signed up to a survey site too and I’ve made a couple of £s today

    Nat
