Good morning!
I am in, thanks Valli for the thread, and thanks Natty for last week.
I got up early (for me) and went with DH for a run! Yes, you read that right - a run! I did 4.25km, and was slower than I used to be, but its a start.
I am now showered, had brunch, checked emails and bank accounts. I am back 'at work' tomorrow, so I need to have a final push of clearing stuff that has found its way downstairs, such as needlework box, art box (I didn't do any of either!), and DS needs to take his PS4 and all of his art pens upstairs when he gets home. I need to make a list!
Email from council - attendance sheet - to be done by noon!!
Clear coffee table
Put gong in SH
Remove DS's aquarium boxes
Put fish tank from SH in loft
Remove mountain of paper (or at least tidy it!)
I also want to go to the allotment for a while, but we shall see! WM is on, and TD (I told DH we shouldn't be using that, but he seems to have a fear of it even getting one rain drop on it!!)
Ok - I had better see to that email now!!
Have a good day everyone!

rabbit hutch cleaned.
two bucketfuls of couch grass roots and clumps binned. I have a blister and I am now resting my back. There is lots more soil to go through and separate roots from but it will be a long job. but I am, I feel, winning. DD is on her lunch break. We're having jacket spuds but they aren't properly cooked yoet. She's zapped hers; I'll wait.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

DS came down and asked if he could sort out the drinks cupboard - inspired by my decluttering
Result - all drinks now fit in to one cupboard - leaving space in the other cupboard for me to stow aforementioned iron and two car care kits which DS's GF's mum has bought for DS (one each Christmas) and which he says are really nice and will make good raffle prizes3 cans and 11 bottles (all ood) have been emptied, rinsed and recycled. There are going to be some hungover rats in the sewers tomorrow!
And I kept back a washed pickled beetroot jar which is now being used to home paper clips, safety pins, screws, buttons and other such items which were strewn about the work top. Random euros will be put in a money bag ready for DS's next trip abroad. Not sure what to do with the forints and the other funny money (possibly Bulgarian?) I'll check and see if it is worth changing back into ££

Wow Round you're doing great. Not much progress here, although I have found a lovely story with flashcards to use with my group on Wednesday. Billy and the monster! Going to have a monster theme and revise basic vocab so should be fun and will sort out a bit of a arty/crafty activity for them too. Collage make your own monster and then describe it for the others to draw? Sorry thinking aloud.

A slow start to the week, got up early for me ate my overnight oats for breakfast & then fell asleep on the settee! 😳
WUDUPA
Filled the water bottles & put in the fridge
Watered the plants
Made lunch when OH arrived home
Baked some flourless, banana oat buns! (Not sure what they will taste like!)
Now contemplating do I do some ironing or sort tea! OH has put the hot tub on to heat up, so I suppose that will be the decider of when we have tea!
Take care everyone 💜'Money and good health is coming easily to Flypeople'11 -
Thank you Mademoiselle xx
Another carrier bag has been emptied. A beyond saving pillow protector has been binned and the odd sock that was with it will be washed and put in the odd sock bag. Theory being that when all odd socks have been unearthed there will be a massive pairing session and anything left unpaired will go to the great textile recycling bin in the sky.
I've also rummaged through a tin that I found and put a dozen batteries in to the recycling - one of said batteries had lost it's innards (that's how old they are!), binned three essential oils of dubious age - I'm pretty sure they came from the flat and we've lived here since 2003. Batteries would be the same vintage; and put all the safety pins, fuses and picture hooks in to their new home - the pickling jar. I am so glad I saved that jar

Before going to the vet I dusted the dusty bits in the living room and hoovered upstairs including the stairs. Am now £100 poorer but hopefully the drugs will make the dogs better. Since coming home from DDs, I have done nothing and plan to knit and watch telly for the rest of the day.Spend less now, work less later.10

3 flower beds made, 1 tonne of top soil used, could do with more for my new to me veg patch.Kitchen at both locations cleaned, both floors done. That is it for today as shifting a tonne of soil no your own, without a wheel barrow is enough for me.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
