Morning xx
Thank you for the lists Valli and Natty xx Hope all is well chez Natty xx
No sign of me leaving the WAC but heyho. My last day off before returning to the paid stuff - it seems ages since I was last there. I'm supping my morning brew and thinking about flying. Does that count?I've made my bed and splashed a little more H@rp!c on the loo - it got most of the limescale off yesterday, so I'm hoping the last few stubborn bits just need an extra dose.
Round 1 =
breakfast & brew 2
get washed & dressed
change towels in bathroom
wash towels & tea towels - supposed to be dry today fingers crossed
clear airer & put away clean clothes
WUDUPA
feed the birds
Sweetie's seed & water
I put out the recycling last night
Much love and hugs to all.
Rxx

Morning all. Just having first cuppa which is hot lemon, supposed to be a good start to the day. Can't do any harm especially as I have a painful mouth and throat this morning. Flying so far has consisted of cleaning up after the dogs. It appears both are poorly now.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.12 -
Morning all, first of all big HUGS to all of you, I went away for a 3 day weekend to the other house and have just read through last week's thread, what a week for so many of you.
Weekend was great, got to see DD2, first time since early March. Our neighbour down there is a saint, we arrived Friday lunchtime to find the lawn cut, we had been expecting a field. I think by staying away (as instructed) we have improved our relationship with the locals. For a small village there were a lot of Covid cases and it was blamed on the folks from Paris who decided to move to the holiday homes (and some still commuted weekly). Hopefully this will help our intergration as we will be living there full time when we can stop working here in a few years. House was in pretty good shape so just a general clean round. But DD2 did bring home mountains of washing, luckily it was windy so it dried quickly but I must have ironed and folded 20 or 30 Tshirts and shirts.
Normal flying this week, off to see DD1 tomorrow as it's her birthday. Probably take away something as a picnic lunch weather permitting.
First kids group back in on Wednesday morning so today will be lesson planning. Thinking about a pirate theme, I love pirates and works with boys and girls.
So far today, bed made, clothes picked up.
Better get going!

Morning all,
Thanks Piggers, yes I did sleep well in the end. Fell asleep watching Harry Potter which always takes my mind off to a fantasy land. Most of the time I accept that so much of the world is weird and wired in ways I will never understand, then other days people's actions knock me off my feet. You're right, my corner of the world is safe, happy and cosy and, as I teach in my PSHRE classes, acceptance is everything 🥰
I went to fetch the milk in, the birds have made a right mess with pulling bits down from the guttering so that has been swept up already. The DW has been unloaded, the WM is on a hot wash with towels and the tablecloth, and I have a cuppa. Next plan will be to get (back!) up, get dressed and put the laundry away. I want to be on my emails by 9am to clear as much as possible before heading to pick up our Tesco shop at noon. Will no doubt report back later with progress, take care all xx
PS YL I am sure the TV license people will have relaxed their rules around proof of students not being at uni for now, given that students aren't physically allowed to attend uni? X11 -
Morning all,
Thank you for the threads. I will be in, although I have DH under my feet / available for extra bossing on the days that I am at home, as he is not working for 3 weeks.Hugs to all in need, especially Natty and Jazee x
I joined you at 3.30 am in the WAC - nice to see you there, Round 🤣.
I did manage some paperwork yesterday, in between the pc deciding that it just had to do updates and need rebooting 3 times, and the printer playing up.It is wfh day today, so I had better think about setting myself up in the back bedroom. Wm is on with a load of towels, the utility room is a tip again (DH loves a dumping ground), and a meal plan needs to be thought about.
Have lovely days all, back later.11 -

Morning all. The start of another week - I hope it will bring us all some joys.
In no particular order, I have already
- got up, had breakfast and got dressed
- sent and email and checked finances
- S&S'd the bathroom
- done and hung out (mostly left-handed) WMx1
- swept the decking (left-handed) and put out the chairs in the hopes that we can have coffee and lunch outside - it's rather grey today, but quite warm, and no rain forecast
- tidied the LR
- watched a large bumble bee enjoying the pansies
- emptied and refilled the DW
- S&S'd kitchen
- transferred the Twinks from a rather unlovely plastic container into a glass biscuit jar that DSiL gave me years ago, which can stand next to the kettle - let's see if DH can resist temptation
- asked DH - twice - to have his shower early so that I can get the towels in the WM
In no particular order, I am aiming to finish off the following jobs today:
- wash and hang out towels
- clean ensuite and workmen's loo
- make a phonecall and send 3 more emails
- plant out the hellebores and bulbs, to make room to...
- pot up the six smallest tomato plants, to make room to..
- plant out the French beans, to make room to...
- !!!!!! out the sunflowers!!!
- sew up the knitted nurse doll: I keep leaving it until the evening, but I really need daylight to see properly
- help supervise a fit young friend who is coming to rebuild the waterbutt stand this afternoon
- take Rosie for her walk.
Will update on my (lack of) progress later!

I have had breakfast, done 20 mins on the exercise bike, had a bath, sorted out washing on airer, changed bedding, got dressed, fed birds, put out rubbish and recycling and filled a box with fruit and veg from the garden to take to DD after going to vet. First of three wash loads is in the machine. Oh and kind of dusted the bedroom.Spend less now, work less later.11

Round 1 completed + emptied shredder, put large bag of shredded paper out for recycling and removed shredder from kitchen work top (as there is now less regular shredding to do, it doesn't need to live there anymore - but it needs to be get-atable. Still pondering where to put it. At the moment it is on the floor in the living room where it will soon annoy me, Might have to stash it in my bedroom (near a socket) until there is room in the RoD for it to live.)
I found an my iron!I guess it must be mine - trying to work out the last time I used it - probably when DS started secondary school: I ironed his shirts for the first couple of weeks, then went back to washing carefully.
For those who don't know DS is 27! Said iron will be wiped (it's dusty) and put in the cupboard with its little plastic water thingy - that is not a fer-ling. However the Bugz Life lunch bag that I also found … no,on second thoughts I'll wash that and fling the tatty stained lunch bag that I've been using.
Tatty pot scourer has been binned. DE coffee jar is soaking to remove the sticky bits then I will decant hot chocolate powder in to it - it will match my diy coffee, tea and sugar storage jars then. Next item I simply must have would like is a kitchen roll holder. That will get that off the work top too. I'm going from extreme clutter to don't want anything on the worktop! What have you done to me? lol
Take care, Waving to my fellow WACer Fayolle xx

Morning all
Thanks for the new thread, I’m in again. At work today, feeling like I need a rest! I didn’t stop yesterday! DH and I have cleared the area where we had the conifers taken away, we levelled it all, put down weed control fabric, placed some half slabs that we already had sitting at the side of the garage since we moved in... interspersed with some gravel, it’s only a tiny area and doesn’t really serve any purpose but at least it’s neat and tidy now.
We just managed to get done before the rain started, not much but enough to send me flying to get the washing in (which was nearly dry). DH ended up having to work in the afternoon so I did a mammoth cooking / baking session. We now have 3 evening meals stashed in the freezer, tonight’s supper is ready prepped and just needs to be flung in the oven, I also did roast pork and all the trimmings for supper yesterday. Yummy!
After that lot the kitchen looked like a disaster so as DH was working again I polished my flylady halo and completed levels 1 through to 3 in the kitchen! Then I had a bath, fell in to bed and slept for 8 hours! Maybe that’s what I need to keep me out of the WAC, wear myself out every day LOL.
Anyway on to today, WM x 2 done, 1 on line and towels in TD. Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain.
Bed made and other dailies whizzed through.
After work I have a zoom catch up and then my book club also over zoom so little flying will be done this evening.
sending huge hugs out to anyone who needs one. Take care all xx11
