A little bit of good money news today, apparently I have been paying for apple music for three months? contacted apple and they have agreed to refund me 2 which is just short of £20!   I also have had a PPI claim with the FCO for some time from an old loan, apparently they have come back and said I haven't been charged for PPI but I did have a lifesaver….Not really sure what the difference is? The company has offered to refund this plus the interest (roughly £80) in total so the FCO are reviewing and coming back to me.  Hopefully I will at least be getting £80 which is something I suppose.

I had some council tax arrears that I have been paying in monthly instalments, (due to moving, splitting with DP etc the bills were split) then I fell into some arrears when I was on maternity leave.  I bit the bullet today and called, two of the accounts I can clear for under £200 so the CC is now on the back burner and this is my July goal.  I know I don't accrue interest on these, and they don't effect my credit report but as I (Hopefully) will be applying for a mortgage later this year I don't want the various DD leaving my account.  Not sure if that's correct MSE debt busting but I think it would be better?

I’ve never heard of lifesaver, but £80 is not to be sniffed at 😊

Apparently if I would have died the loan would have been covered by the policy (which is exactly what I thought ppi was lol)

I just got a letter from TSB telling me they had miscalculated Avios points and have Credited me about 4000...but as I never fly anywhere I’m not sure what I can do with them!

@Suzanne54321B you can use your Avios points on beer, wine and spirits from Laithwaites!  Not sure if that is of any use to you.  I just googled it for you, not because I have Avios points to use, LOL!

That’s great news, but I didn’t have an account with ba and when I set one up my points definitely weren’t there! I need to ring tsb at some point and track them down. Hopefully 4000 points is about £400 and not £4 😂

Update...I could possibly buy half a bottle with them 😂 I shan’t bother sorting it out now, but thanks for checking ⭐️
