Presumably you will be submitting evidence with your WS  -  nothing mentioned as far as I can see.

When in 2017 was the event, exactly?

Between May and July 2017 (GSV images) the only sign on the wall on the left was removed:

And in Oct 2016 they had 2 'P' entrance signs, one on the corner of the Subway building, facing cars coming in:

That's mysteriously gone just months later in 2017, leaving only the short 'P' sign that appears to relate to the bays outside Subway and invite parking.

Are only the first two parking bays reserved for the Vets (they seem to be the only ones with a distinctive V4P sign on the wall in front of each)?  Are the other bays for use by Subway customers?  Was your vehicle parked in the first two bays?

That reads more like a defence than a witness statement (WS), hopefully you put most of that in your defence.  Defences are written in third person, so for example you would say "the defendant" rather than "I" and WSs are written in first person.  You have a mix of the two.  You "put the claimant to strict proof" but that is a phrase normally associated with a defence.  A WS "is in support of my defence as already filed" and is a narrative, your story of what happened on the day and subsequently and should not repeat the defence; rather it backs up and supports the defence with evidence.  Your paragraph about the driver is confusing.  If you were not the driver on the day, you need to say so (but only if it is true) and not leave it open to interpretation (by the judge).  If you were not the driver, you seem to know an awful lot about the signs; of course you could have been a passenger in the car that day or you could have returned at a later date - on foot - to conduct research.
Thanks for your input. I agree and will go through and change it accordingly. Sorry i just copied and edited a witness statement I found on here. I dont really have a good understanding of the process. Will post once ive updated it. Thanks again.

Yes i will submit as much evidence as possible. Just trying to get the base done first, thanks

3rd December 2017.  I agree strange what happened between May and July 2017! I cant explain that.
Signs in July 2017 seen in the photo:
    - 2 x vets 4 pets black signs left side appear to indicate 2 bays for vets 4 pets. I parked in bay 4 on the left assuming 1st bay is bay 1.

-1 x blue and white sign seen on right side rear wall. BW Legal have sent me a time and date stamped photo of what looks like it may be this sign. Largest text says "Vets 4 Pets Car Park, Vets 4 Pets Customers only". Medium size text says "PCN £100" Then smaller test saying about entering reg at vets 4 pets to avoid PCN. The rest is unreadable in the close up photo they sent. I cant read anything large enough about Premier Park or ANPR but there is a logo of a camera. This sign is not eye level of a driver nor readable without standing directly in front of it.

-1 x blue and white sign at right side of car park entrance. As far as i can see this only indicates Private Land.

I dont recall observing any of the signs.

It would appear so but i now know the whole car park is for Vets 4 Pets customers only! You can not park there to visit Subway, nice trap right! I know a lot of people who get caught here, just look at google reviews for Subway and Vets 4 Pets at that location!

I was parked in bay 4 on the left assuming the first bay with Vets 4 Pets black sign on the left is bay 1.

Not sure that any of those signs would pass Lord Denning's Red Hand Rule.

If you're close by I'd be getting some photos showing just two bays being marked off for V4P and those of the other bays with no markings, suggesting they were open for general use, particularly of the Subway shop which is clearly much closer to the car park than V4P. If all bays were for V4P customers only, why mark only the first two as such. Confusing signage, check out the legal term 'Contra Proferentem'.

Get some print outs of the Google Reviews to attach to your WS.

Include all those GSV images, including the older 2016 one, to show that they were removing signs and not replacing them in the months before the parking event, and there is nothing to tell people that this is not the Subway car park.
