Sorry for your loss crazychick - it's oging to be hard day at work tomorrow for everyone.
re shrek - I think I saw it for a tenner at mr t with a free donkey - dgs already has it or it would be 2 xmas presents.
Jayward - pleased your friend is back to comfort you - we're always here but I know it's a poor substitute for a real hug
so jealous of those with their decs up - dd11 is in charge of that this year and so far nothing doing - have chucked the kids-making-things-at-xmas supplement thingy that was free in the observer at her but she says she is waiting to be inspiredI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Crazychik so sorry for your sad news. Thoughts with her family and you. ((hugs))
kyle, sorry MIL has let you all down again!!!! I was so pleased to read earlier that she was coming to see you all. She's a very foolish woman, and is the ultimate loser. She'll regret in years to come, not having a relationship with you all. The boys won't know her or want to and it'll be her own fault.
(((hugs)))) to you all. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Hi all
just popped on quickly to send hugs to Crazy Chick and her friends little daughter how awful for everyone
Kyle sorry to hear that you have all been let down again by MIL
hugs to all who need them will try to pop on for longer tomorrow0 -
Evening everyone
C-C - (((hugs))) to you and the family, just thinking of the 4 yo, how can you explain it to her.
Kyle - If I was your MIL you would be fed up of seeing me & DH! She's the loser. I was lucky my MIL was a star and ended up being one of my best friends.
I was looking on HMV this morning I think all 3 Shreks were bundled for £17.99 I was tempted.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Haven't been in touch today as soooooooooo busy!
CrazyC - I can see already that you have had bad news. So sorry about your friend. You have been down a bit lately so please try not to let this get to you even more. Think of the joy you have given me! (Cheque in the post by the way.)
Well, had a bit of an up and down night with DGS3. Didn't take much milk but had a very intense conversation with him about 2 am this morning when he just wanted to burble and tell me big stories. This is when I realised he wasn't all that bothered he hadn't had milk. This morning DGSs 1 + 2 woke at 6.30 but persuaded back for half an hour, up for breakfast and then had to wake DGS3 at 7.30 or out of his routine. Discovered the problem I think, I hadn't heated his bottle enough! Fine at breakast and lunch.
Took them all back this afternoon and stayed for dinner. DD so glad to give DGS3 his 2.00 pm feed as she was feeling uncomfortable.
Daddad and Granny Broon very tired tonight but it was a good weekend and reassuring we can have all three of them. Just a pity the other grandparents don't do their bit.
Anyway, enough of my goings on. I do hope all of you are OK and not suffering too many ailments.
Love and very tired hugs!

Emma - so sorry to hear about your friend, my thoughts with you and her family xx
Kyle - so glad i dont have a MIL anymore, its a shame for your boys, but in the long run its her that is missing out - and its not as if they havnt got a lovely Gran already!!!!
Had a lovely lazy day today, we all stayed in our pjs, although i have done my bedding, and the bed is now re made, given the bathroom and toilets a really good clean and made a lovely roast dinner!
We then spent the afternoon with our hot chocolate (with marshmallows and squirty cream!!!) and The Santa Claus on dvd - followed by Elf which was on the telly. Did mean we missed the results show of Strictly, but will be watching that in a mo, as ive taped it! We are now all bathed and in fresh PJs and watching Top Gear!!!
Well, hope everyone has had a lovely day (weather here has been horrible)
Sleep well and take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Crazychik - ((((((hugs))))))) to you and your friend's family - thoughts and prayers with you
Dlb - I think you are either very lucky with MILs or else.......... I lost it on the phone with mine last night - I put up with carp for months and then have enough - so sympathies.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
