Thanks for that information, what was you’re timeline. Speaking with MA was it a quick turnaround for DIP.
Been waiting a week, look at quite patient have to be, as totally outwith my control & reading some brokers are working flat out in.... But an estimation would be good, so it gives me some reassurance.
DIP was 3 days, but timescales keep changing... we had our valuation done Tuesday and told we’d have the offer by end of Thursday but now told “final checks” mean Monday at the earliest.

Thanks. Hopefully Monday is when you find out, fingers crossed.

Many working days has the timescale from receiving DIP to point you are on now. I don’t even have a search for my DIP and it was put in over a week ago.

14 working days from DIP and counting...
It’s now a week since valuation and still waiting for a decision/offer 😔 starting to think the worst and something has come up that they’re not happy with (even though we disclosed everything up front and broker said he saw no problems).
  • did you apply 14 days ago? i've been a week and no word at all yet - we are in scotland and don't need a valueation as seller provides with home report

  •  :# joining the thread as we’re in the same position. Applications went in a week ago but no word yet....
  • same as us! @emmabricksandmortar hopefully not too long a wait!
  • Good luck guys!!

Our Dip was submitted last Wednesday and we heard back Yesterday! We are now about to go in with full application, just getting all the documents to our broker so she can send them to the packager!! 🤞
  • Did you use a packager @alanastill12 ? I don’t think our MB did, really worried they’ll start coming back with questions which might put us to the back of the queue again. We’re doing HTB and the developer is insistent on completion within 28 days......My nerves are frayed already!!
  • @emmabricksandmortar no we didn't - but we supplied, bank statements, payslips, credit scores from agencies, gifted deposit letter, we got asked to fill in a furlough form before the app could go ahead - we did pics of ourselves, driving licences and passports. basically we just said to the mortgage broker - tell us anything and everything you may need and we will provide it up front. although i expect they will come back looking for our marriage cert which we have sitting and ready.
i'm hoping we hear soon - still awaiting being reviewed apparently. i've never even heard of a packager before and seems weird people use them and pay for it when they could do it all themselves - and the broker or MA should know exactly what you will need.
