  • Please can I ask, how long does it take for DIP & timelines you all have experienced with Vida.

DIP took 3 days (lost 24 hours as broker had to re-register), valuation done on day 12 and we’re on day 15 now and expecting a decision any day now!
  • Believe application has been in for a week, but no sign of any soft searches on reports. Probably give it time. Thank you, hope this a good day for you all.

@periwinkleperkins did you have to submit other documents in between this process? Did they ask you for anything else, also did you pay a fee and at what stage, thankyou in advance 😊
  • We had to submit letters due to furlough and a gifted deposit letter but was all done really quick - just awaiting any update we paid the fee when submitting the application.

Ok thankyou for your reply, we only paid £49 fee which thought wasn’t right! Oh well, more waiting, we submitted 3 weeks ago now and there still asking for more docs!
  • Has anyone else waited 3 weeks or so after submitting full application?
  • hmmm, we paid substantially more however could be the package your on i guess. what kind of docs they asking for i'd rather be prepared if i can (if you wouldn't mind telling if it's just like p60's etc) we only submitted tuesday so we are still fresh
  • I thought it was a small fee we paid, no idea why! Bank statements, wage slips, accounts as husband is self employed.. reason for payment holiday during lockdown. Balance on car loans, marriage certs, letter from employment asking if we are going to get furloughed in the future ( we can’t get that as who knows) this is the reason why we think we may be declined 😞
  • i've done the bank statements, wage slips, the car loans and marriage certs are strange though!
    nothing is easy :(
