Hi.. I’m just had an email from Vida asking for an explanation for the bad credit/missed payments. What did you actually tell them if you don’t mind me asking. I don’t really have an explanation apart from being young, daft and rubbish with paying bills. Although things are now different.!!jmilne said:Ok another quick update, I’ve had my mortgage broker chase Vida today and our case was fully underwritten on Saturday just gone and they are waiting for a valuation date to be booked in. They’ve asked for another payslip and an explanation as to why I’ve had bad credit in past but think we’re finally getting somewhere....0 -
Hi, I just said that my partner hasn’t had enough credit at all so that’s the reason for hers and for me I had a couple of payday loans in 2016/2017 which resulted in me getting 1 default against me. I said that they are all paid off and done as of a while ago. I said all this via my mortgage advisor who said they would send this across to Vida as a word document.Joleen23 said:

Heard that our valuation went ok today... will keep everyone posted on how long it takes to get to an offer.3

Hi, has anyone had a lot of stress like me with Vida? They just keep asking for more and more proof/documents. Is this a good or bad sign?
each time I send them what they request, they come back wanting more. This is so stressful, I’ve already had a DIP I’ve sold my house, been accepted on another but feel I’ll never get a mortgage offer at this rate! Any help/advice would be much appreciated. There doesn’t seem to be many forums on Vida. 😞0 -
Did you hear more?periwinkleperkins said:Heard that our valuation went ok today... will keep everyone posted on how long it takes to get to an offer.0 -
Still waiting to hear back from broker on when Vida will review the valuation and then hopefully an offer. Time is on our side as new build won’t be complete until end of October but would still prefer an offer sooner rather than later 😉MortgageWonders said:Did you hear more?0

It’s been a smooth process for us, the packager that the broker used did a lot of leg work up front getting documentation so we’ve had no queries from Vida except asking us to fill in the “every mortgage tells a story” form to explain our adverse situation.Joleen23 said:Hi, has anyone had a lot of stress like me with Vida? Thankyou for your reply, do all mortgage brokers use a packager? Is this just a standard thing?periwinkleperkins said:

I don’t think we’ve used a packager, we’ve just used a broker and they sent across all ID docs and payslips and gifted deposit letter and Vida have underwritten our mortgage and waiting for valuation to be booked in. I don’t even think they’ve seen our bank statements although we did provide these to our broker...Joleen23 said:
