Oh pancake day has crept up on us hasn't it. That will be fun at least and as sad as it sounds always nice to have new pans.
I am pretty clear now declutter wise. Having to shuffle funds for the bill dates and bank in a bitas have put that off all day.
You and DH do such a fantastic job of juggling everything.

The pans were huge! Didn't actually look at the sizes 🤣 you have done great with the decluttering Sam, I've been reading along on the post even though I've not decluttered anything this week.
It's been a very spendy week! DH saw another hole in the roof so decided it might be better to do the roof before decorating the boys room so we don't have to redo it.
So I Decided we would do the Hall instead so lots of paint, heat gun, brushes and tape were purchased. The paint was was more than I wanted to have the colour mixed but after spending ages choosing it I felt bad changing my mind and DH had already fetched the stuff he needed to fix the wall.
We've spent the last 2 days getting the hallway ready and trying the colour on a little corner as it's completely different to what we would normally do. If all the walls take that long (especially as it's back to school monday) it might be done by Easter!😂
From this mucky colourto this
DH fetched a personalised brownie cake for DD today and I need to wrap her presents.
Right I better go wrap DDs presents, in leftover christmas paper because I forgot to buy birthday paper!LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Oh wow you have been busy.
Yes it always costs so much more than just a pot of paint doesn't it, the tape the brush, rollers etc.
Need to do mine soon don't think am looking forward to all the work.
That was brave and in half term too
Hope you have a good weekend with lots of tea.

Luckily DH likes to do all the painting even if it's not perfect, I just have to wash the walls and supervise. I really want him to do tge gloss so I can see what it looks like properly. Been on the phone to both my mum and sister today (they rang to wish DD a happy birthday) and ended up sending them both pictures and they don't really like it (my sister has just painted bright purple so completely different choices). The whole house is really ready for doing but that's the bit everyone sees from the door.
DH spent £40 this morning on cake and candles and some other shopping.
I've been looking at shelves and plants and curtains for the hall but not bought anything yet, it's all in my basket to see if I change my mind. So I've done absolutely nothing all day, except drink too much tea! 😂 I must find another nice hot drink, I don't actually want the tea but don't fancy cold drinks. I have bought herbal teas before and didn't like the ones I bought and they eventually ended up in the bin.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

I am the same but I don't know what to drink instead though
and I've already told myself I don't really like anything else.
Sounds like home is all coming together nicely and so good for your wellbeing to feel happy in your environment.
I really do think most people are the same that their home needs a complete paint overhaul. Mine does and so does plus ones! So that's 2 of us.
Trouble is with lockdown we are supposed to have all this "extra time" but that is filled with adjusting to the many changes of being locked down.
I definitely try not to think of all the decorating that needs doing here else I will go into overwhelm, but yours is the right idea as the one room I guess inspires you to go on and do the next two, three rooms 😂
Take each day as it comes for now, think we put far too much pressure on ourselves these days.
So pleased about your shed always nice to have that storage.

@charlies_tribe you might like to try hot Ribena with a slice of lemon; if you can get the Winter Spice one that's even better! I don't like cold Ribena but love it hot.

Thank you Sam, it will be a show home eventually (probably well after I'm gone 😂).
Thank you joedenise. I'll get DH to pick some up in the morning and give it a try. The children will drink it if it's not something I like.
I need to find something as the caffeine probably doesn't help with not sleeping, I managed about 6 hours in 3 days at the beginning of the week, Wednesday night I didn't sleep at all and still struggled to drop off on Thursday night, luckily made up for it the last 2 nights.
Need to return some lights tomorrow that dd had for her birthday, they don't work. Filled the return thing in last night and they have to be back by tomorrow, if I'd realised they only gave 2 days to return them, I'd have waited till Monday to do it when DH wasn't at work.
Other than fighting to get the children in the shower, nothing else has been done today yet. Having a lazy day before the mayhem resumes tomorrow.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Just a quick post. My sofa payment has come out today taking the debt down under £18k!
I have done a bit of spending. Ordered DD a set of lights to replace the ones I returned, they were £2 more than the refund. The girls have been asking for some books, DD2 had been reading the first books of a series but they seem to have got lost in the room switch. So had a look and it's cheaper to buy her the full set rather than the other books without the first 2 that she has. So that was £30 spent but I don't mind on books.
I've also been looking at a series but to buy the series is almost £75 to buy on kindle is £32! I've still got my birthday money so wondering if it might be worth investing in a kindle. I've always said I prefer the actual book but that's a big price difference.
Right, off to bed... 9 homeschooling days and counting 😂🤣 (I actually loved having them home last year and didn't want them to go back but all the online stuff has made this time awful).LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

I think a kindle sounds a good investment for you - sometimes free books and offers etc to be had. I think it's just the getting used to it vs a book.
Less book clutter toohave a think as given the year we've all had it would be nice for you to have a treat.
