Never hurts to window shop even for a bit of inspiration. Reminds me of kids circling the argos catalogue
I have recently had to glue together a wardrobebut saves buying a new for now.
Good that you managed to get DD2 to eat something and a plus that some of it was fruit 😂
Enjoy your tea and browsing 😘

I have so much that needs doing but there's always something that needs doing first. Boys room desperately needs doing but I can't move them into the conservatory while it's a school room and not enough room to work around their beds (box room). The pantry needs shelving but I have nowhere to put the stuff while we do it. Dh said if we get a shed he can move his things out of the utility and the food can go in there temporarily but she'd waiting times are about 3 months as there's a shortage of wood....... oops that went on a bit... but I was trying to price up all the jobs to see what we could get done.
Well done on the gluing of the wardrobe. Even if it's only a temporary fix it's lasted a little longer.
DH did some shopping today. About £22 but didn't get everything on the list as he is struggling to walk at the minute.
Today I've been on the washing 🤣
DS2 bed stripped, washed dried and back on. DS1 bed stripped, washed and should be dry, he can put his own back on.
DD2 bed stripped and washed, it's just beeped so going to swap that with DS2s in the dryer. I think she has put her new bedding from Christmas on. And DD3s can go in the washer once I've moved the other 2 over. Then there's a pile of blankets from DD2s bed that she 'needs' back for tonight.
Hopefully the boys room might smell a bit better with fresh bedding, 2 teens in a tiny box room gets very sweaty and smelly 🤢. If I can open their windows in the week it might not be so bad the boiler man going in there, luckily they are pretty tidy.
You can't actually tell I've done anything but I think that's as much as I'm going to manage today.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Yes I think all of the stolen time where the kids are not at school it must be hard to even think let alone tackle other jobs. Hang on in there I think we all just have to do what we can until some normality returns.

And it's half-term!!
There has been some spending this week. DH did buy a shed, a plastic one and a floor for it. Shopping was delivered Sunday, a cc payment has come out and paid for the boiler service today.
The kitchen and utility have had a good scrub and can't believe how much rubbish is in there considering it was only emptied a year ago for the boiler to be installed.
DH has taken a lot of his tools out in to the shed already so the shelves in the utility are looking tidier already.
Once school had finished for the day and the boiler man had been I sat on the sofa and dropped to sleep!
Hoping to do some of the boys room next week while I can put all their things into the conservatory and the kids have some bits to catch up on before they go back to school.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

That is such brilliant news about the shed, so pleased for you. Think it will make a real difference.
I've brought gloves, reading glasses and chocolate so something in the air lol
Hope you have a great weekend.

Sam, Your gloves reminded me I had left a takeaway off the list. DH and DS1 had spent all day out in the - 3 temps putting the base down and shed together. DS1 (17) never thought to come and ask to borrow some gloves! His hands were red raw and he couldn't move his fingers. I had to ask DD2 to go turn him the shower on as he couldn't turn the dial. So DH said we could have takeaway.
I have spent today helping the girls clear their bedroom floor, a bag of rubbish out, there's a pile of cardboard (selection boxes) to bring down and their floordrobes have been put into wardrobes but still need sorting.
I was going to do a freezer place order for Tomorrow as couldn't get my normal delivery but decided to sort through the freezer first to make room. So glad I did as we have decided to do a week living out of the freezer, with DH picking up any bits we need. I was sure it was almost empty but I have a huge list to try and make some very creative meals with 🤣 there is actually about 90 sausages in there as DH keeps buying a bag on his way home in case there isn't any! Everything else is just odd bits that needs using up.
Today DH is supposed to be making enchiladas before he goes to bed for an hour as 2 packs of chicken in the Fridge with today's date on (they look fine so I'll make a chicken dinner with the other pack tomorrow).LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

DH spent about £9 last night. He got bread, milk and cheese from my list and there's 2 bags of mini Mars bars that were reduced to 99p each on the side, I must move them before they become my afternoon snack. The rest was probably for his locker snacks as there's no receipt on the side (they have to keep it if they buy from work to prove its paid for).
I sorted all DD3 clothes into the right drawers last night, hoping she will go through them 1 at a time today while I do DD2's. Im sure it's tidy enough to fit DS2 in for a few nights now though so we can decorate the boys room. At the moment though I'm on the sofa with a cup of tea with no plans to move.
DD2 is 13 next week and still haven't got her present. She desperately wants a silicon reborn doll but she knows she can't and won't give me any other ideas. I did say she could have the money to save for one but I feel bad her having nothing to open (she has got a 13th bear, 13 in lockdown t-shirt, birthstone necklace so she wouldn't actually have nothing).
Can't believe it's 11 already, better get something done.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Well I never did get that energy! DD2 came down with horrible tummy ache so after cuddles I convinced her a showered would help (probably wouldn't but she needed a shower 😂) after her shower she came to ask for medicine. I couldn't find any calpol, and as the child that eats nothing, I got prepared with paracetamol broken into bits, drinks, spoon and jam, expecting a long fight to get her to take it, only for her to take it straight away with the water!
I asked her again if there was anything she would like and she said shoes (loves her shoes) and socks, fluffy socks. So I have ordered her 5 pairs of fluffy animal print socks, a hot water bottle that comes with a fluffy strap thing to fasten it around her tummy, to help with the tummy aches and then went to look for shoes. Looked on n@xt, she had mentioned wanting new conv@rs@ (she isn't bothered about the brand, just liked her yellow canvas ones) the other week and saw they had some animal print ones in 2 colours. Couldn't decide which colour and as they were n@ext ones and half the price of the conv@rs@ I was expecting to buy, I ordered her them both to try.
I've made a roast chicken dinner and done 3 loads of washing, very small loads, tea towels, dusters and a tablecloth and that is it.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Thank you Sam, she will be fine in a day or 2. Its that time of the month tummy ache, it hasn't bothered her for a year but the last few have been really painful, hopefully the water bottle will help next time.
Sent DH with a shopping list last night and he's bought double or triple of everything on there so £42 spent. I get his point that we will use it but I know with extra pop, crisps, Ice lollies... the children will just want to eat more.
He couldn't get frying pans though so I've ordered a set. One of the children's homework is to make pancakes but I threw a frying pan out that had gone rusty the other day and the other one destroys everything, they would come out like scrambled egg. I was going to get actual pancake pans but they were so expensive!
Right I better go shout the barking pup in and clean out the rabbit.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
