Why is it that I can only manage to be productive every other day?!?
DH has washed his car, been for a run, put on WM, hung it out, got it in again - oh, and he cleared up the mess in the kitchen this morning while I was still sleeping! I knew he wouldI have pottered about, rehomed a few toys, sorted through a bag of wellies and pulled out a few weeds in the garden. I also made myself lunch and booked online tickets to visit the RHS gardens nearby on Thursday, and will meet my mum there
DH is currently in the garden trying to pump up his inflatable kayak without it blowing new holes along the seams! He is armed with gorilla tape, and failingHopefully he will admit defeat and put it on the tip pile - but he won't be happy about it, so I must be sympathetic
For the time being, I am keeping out of the way!!
I think I will do some admin indoors while I'm here, and I may pop to the shop in a little while.

GI - you're lucky that you can be productive every other day. I seem to peak by Tuesday and then go downhill fast!
Not much to report here. I really need to get myself into gear...at least another 6 weeks off work so need to get back to being productive.
Big thank you for the lists. Hope everyone's okay xx11 -

As expected the meal planning and monthly shopping has taken most of the day and most of my energy but it's done one we're fully stocked up.
Did manage to WULTD, WM, S&S kitchen before going out so that will have to do for today. Will pick up bits of the kitchen as the week goes on hopefully

Welcome Borscht. We talk about all sorts on here but the general gist is about home/garden tidying/cleaning/improvement. The important thing is that you do a little every day and the effect snowballs over time.
So today, up at 6.15am, exercise class done, casserole in SC, washing out, bed made and doggie bedding in. 7.5 hours at the paid stuff, managed a little sit outside, boiling hot even here up North! Hoovered LR and kitchen. Off to fine tune Asda order, really tired now.
Glad Mr Natty is on the mend. Table is lovely Mademoiselle.12 -
Welcome Borscht (still missing the smiley waving emoji of old ☹️).
I’ve felt decidedly dodgy for most of the day, so it was a good job that I was wfh. My stomach now sounds like it is starting WW3, so I am curled on the sofa, as I am dog tired , and with a cup of mint tea. I might manage to meal plan for the week, but updating the food order will have to wait until tomorrow. I think it is going to be read a book or listen to a podcast evening.Freezer dive dinner done, WULTD, kitchen given a s&s, and that will be about it for this evening.Tomorrow is a day off, so hopefully back firing on as many cylinders as I can muster. Much as I love you all, I am hoping that I won’t be joining the WAC tonight 🤣.11 -
Round 2 was completed - it was so long ago I had to look back and see what it said
35 carrier bags folded and placed in bag number 36 - I think they've been breeding
Two rust spotted lampshades binned - finally. I have 32 pencils for the c/s - there may be more. Maybe they've been breeding too!!!
Went for a walk with DS this afternoon - not as hot as yesterday thanks to the lovely breeze. Oh that reminds me I need to remake my bed. Going to wash DS's bedding tomorrow - might as well make the most of the good drying weather.
I've only gone and ordered myself a smartphone to replace my ancient Nokia - eeek. Nokia's battery needs charging every five minutes (slight exaggeration - every day) and has a habit of cutting me off mid call. So the time has come, as the walrus said.
Just need to get a new (to me) car and I'm sorted. Car dealers have reopened from today so I need to crack on with that.
Sweet dreams lovely ladies.
