Hello. Me again. I have watered the garden, had breakfast, washed up, got dressed, changed bedding which is now on line, walked the dogs and done a quick hoover through. I've also taken the car for a ten mile round trip to keep the battery going, dropping off little gifts to friends on the way.
It is now so hot that I'm going to relax in the garden for the rest of the day apart from making lunch.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Oooh a bit of good news. Just been checking with Dave when he first started showing symptoms and it was over 14 days ago. So now after reading about self isolation, and registering Dave to say he has had it on the gov website, I can actually be out and about as my 14 days quarantine starts from when he started symptoms. That's a bit of good news.. I 👏👏Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Mademoiselle WOW that is beautiful, so is the rest of the house...totally jealous
Natty glad DH seems to be getting better
I have spent all of the morning so far doing the meal plan ish & shopping list for the month as I am off to do our once a month big MrAl shop this afternoon, last month I felt so greedy loading the trolly with 60 bags of crisps & treats and 8 blocks of cheeseWe do have a tone of veg/fruit but get that locally each week. It will probably take most of the day up with the queuing and so on at the supermarket so may be a level 1 on the kitchen list today for me.
Happy vibes to all

Good morning!
I had plans of great productivity this week! And then I joined the WAC!! Not in the same way as most - I couldn't get to sleep. I went to bed at a reasonable time with the intention of getting up and at 'em early, maybe even a run!! My brain had other ideas, however. I tried music - and listened to the entire Dark Side of the Moon album three times!! I eventually dropped off at about 2:30am I think, so I slept in.
I have had breakfast, and done the 1st of the month money juggle. I need to check my emails, and do an attendance sheet for the LA as I told them I am opening this week (although I have now decided to open next week). I chased all the parents last night, as I had still only had one reply to last week's email. As suspected, I have 1 child returning next week (for 2 days), and that is it!! Some will be back September (maybe), and 1 may come back in a few weeks (followed by his baby brother in August), and the 2 boys I have in the summer hols may come on odd days. I have decided not to charge those that aren't coming - probably not a good business decision, but it feels like the right thing to do!
Ok - LA email deadline is noon, so I had better go!
Mademoiselle - that table is amazing!
Fayolle - I agree, it sounds like they are judging by there own standards and/or jealous!

Thank you all for your lovely kind compliments
Yes Dizzy, old sewing machine base, I bought it for 12€ about 15 years ago and it had sat as clutter so we wire wooled it and then repainted it, including the gold writing. I had seen a tiled table like the top of this in our local diy shop but at 450€ it had to stay in the shop, but less than 30€ for the tiles and a bit of plywood cut to size and a few bits and bobs some of which were taking up space in the garage, total cost well under 100€. And something nice from the junk!

Okay - form not done, but frog has been eaten! I phoned the LA and told them I am closed this week, and clarified what they need for next week.
I forgot to say welcome to Borscht!
I am glad you are getting back to work Dizzy - enjoy your doggy visitors!
Right - I need to get up an DO something! I am going to re-sort some toys I think. I had split them into separate boxes, so that a different box would come out each day for ease of cleaning. I am going to put them back how they were. I will only have one child, so I won't have to worry about cross-contamination. I was over-thinking. I am going to keep it simple - hand washing and cleaning as I go.
