Good morning all
Amazing and beautiful, Mademoiselle.
Paid stuff from home all day today. Still a bit miffed from a colleague’s comment last week that anyone working from home isn’t really doing much. Maybe you don’t, love, but I work twice as hard, I just maybe doing it in a pair of shorts and a ratty tshirt .
So far this morning, I have:
emptied the dw
done HHI
watered the greenhouse
put on a towel wash.
Back later, have a lovely day all. Hugs to all, especially the WAC and all those returning to school / work today for the first time.11 -

Wow Mademoiselle - that's amazing xx Lots of memories going to be made around that table no doubt
Fayolle - everyone judges by their own standardsxx I always think comments like that say more about the accuser than the accused - one finger points forward, three point back! Hugs xx
Welcome borscht xx WAC is the Wide Awake Club - there are several of us on the thread who are finding sleep elusive at the moment. Hope that helps
Round 1

Morning all.
welcome borscht.
mademoiselle - top work
Fayolle that sounds like an envious person there.
This week I need to garden and weed. I'm looking to move a compost bin I think and I have celery and broccoli to plant. I also have work to do and my online course.
2 loads in WM to peg out.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning everyone and welcome borscht. I was up at 5 this morning so thought I'd be productive. Have cleaned the kitchen windowsill, moved the plants around on there so it looks prettier. Even put my silk peonies on there to make it look extra special 🙂 There is a wash load going around in the machine, so will hang the load on the line when finished.
Have also written 4 letters and they are now in their envelopes ready to post. So I'll give to my neighbour to post for me as I need her to pick up some more lucozade for DH at the same time.
Good luck to those returning back to school today, it will be very strange I imagine.
Shall dust and hoover round downstairs later - have kind of let it lapse since DH got ill.
Woohoo I slept in my own bed last night, and DH had a good night's sleep last night. He's going to take a couple more days off from wfh so he feels better equipped to deal with the numpties that keep emailing him with silly things..
I've already had 3 cups of tea since being up, and I have DH's dioralyte made up to go with his breakfast..
DH is moving around upstairs so I'd better make a cuppa for him.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning all,Thank you for the threads I am of course in 😊 Natty I hope Dave continues to feel a bit better it does sound terrifying, take care love xx
Mademoiselle wow xx
After a bit of an annoying start to the day that I won't bore you with I'm up and on it. Second load of washing in machine, bedding already on the line, I am showered and the DW is unloaded. Food shopping coming at 12 and will bbq later. DS was meant to be back to school this week but it's been delayed another week, for reasons I can't quite follow...
I am going to water the plants now, put yet more caustic soda down the drain 😏 then make a cuppa. I read loads of my book yesterday and didn't go on my phone much, felt better for properly switching off. Will no doubt report back later, have lovely days all xx10 -
Thank you Natty and Valli for listys.
GWS for Mr Natty...thinking about dog walking at midnight, I would be worried about undesirables too....4.30/5am as it's starting to get light, gives you more chance to be aware of your surroundings while 99% population is tucked up in bed.
On with the week.....I am going to try to capitalise on flinging progress and do a few task off the dailies in the hope I have more energy for cleaning once I stop playing Gibble Tetris.
Progress limited so far, some fabric shoe organisers ordered for delivery tomorrow 😁 , refund chased on a frog which will be back in 5 days time. Lunch date with Uncle and Aunt planned for after the Rona is all done, loo scrubbed.
Time to plan Brunch.....as I should have thought about breakfast hours ago!The cold never bothered me anyway10 -
Thanks Natty,
I,m in,but so far have only done a workout and need a coffee after that! Then I will do level one of today's list.
Hope your DH continues to improve.

Morning ladies! I'm in and feeling refreshed as for once I am not a member of the WAC. Had a totally stressful day yesterday which included crushing my mobile phone in the van door hinges (no mean achievement, I'm sure you'll agree) a meltdown over BBQ suggestion from DH and the delivery of two of our goat kids to a new home 100 miles away.
Today, I am reopening my doggy daycare as I've had a few enquiries from customers who are returning to work and so Monty the Labrador, Floss and I are off on a walk. DH can sit on the kids. New phone just arrived, so currently on charge...
Kitchen already sparkling, prescription collected, dishwasher tablets bought and DW now rumbling plus letter posted. Oh, and brownie points from my mum's elderly cousin who I remembered to send flowers to as it's her birthday.
Mademoiselle - are the legs of your fabulous upcycled table from a sewing machine bench? I love this look!
