Morning all,
Its raining steadily here so an indoor day on the cards, which is fine by me 😊 We has a long bike ride yesterday, then spent the afternoon snuggled down with kids playing Minecraft and me absorbed in my book. I'm in bed with a cuppa, I have emptied the DW, fed the dog and children though 😉. My first job today is to have a shower! I've already cancelled Amazon prime this morning and also reduced our Netflix package, saving £11 a month overall. Any saving helps! After my shower I need to eat, put the Yorkshire Puds in to cook for lunch (I always do them in advance rather than playing oven Tetris). We are having roast chicken and all the trimmings. This afternoon will be more reading and I should put a wash in as well. I never did list on eBay yesterday, but I did get an email from DDs Brownie leader saying we are getting a refund for what we had paid towards the (obviously cancelled) Brownie holiday, so £70 on its way to me.Have lovely Sundays all xx8 -
Good morning!
I was up & dressed before 9am!! On a Sunday!!! (not that a Sunday is different from any other day 😂)
I have had breakfast. DH emptied the DW & washed up. I have washed the reusable green veg bags, wiped down all the surfaces & hob (DH never does this!) and emptied the sink if the now lukewarm orange-stained bubbly water (he never does this either!) WM is on.
Yesterday I managed to clear an area of 'meadow' at the allotment, lay some card and a new raised bed. I haven't filled it yet, as it was raining by this point. Home for lunch, then the rest of the afternoon spent chilling. DH did the food shop, thankfully!
Today I am going back to the allotment to crack on there, as I was starting to see a difference. Lots of rain yesterday, so I daresay the weeds will have doubled and the slugs will reappear. I have lots to plant out still, and I need to collect some paving slabs from a friend on the way (it's a good job I have my trolley!)
Welcome Squirrelgirl! This often annoys me too! Have you tried turning the phone on its side, so it is landscape?6 -
Morning all
Asb you have reminded me that I must sort out DS2s TV Licence. I can cancel it and will get a refund, but I have to submit proof that he has come home from Uni - ideas anyone? We have no emails or letters to say he has come home. Photo of him in his bedroom?
So, full day on my own today, decided that I am going to make it count so have started defrosting the freezers, radio on bull blast, 30 minutes done on the spinning bike and 30 minutes yoga. I am going to get a shower now, sort the freezers, wash the utility room floor including under and behind appliances (wish me luck it is very cobwebby and I dont like cobwebs). There will be time later for some relaxing with my book.

Morning xx
I've just returned from trying to demolish the C00p! Well I was shopping actually, but a sudden attack of lack of spatial awareness sent the charity box flying (luckily it was chained to the counter so it couldn't go far) and then I banged the protective screen with my bananas. Luckily that didn't go flying!!!
Anyway, that's Pip taken for a run to keep her battery charged and the shopping done. Hopefully that will last us until Monday 15th when Mr M will deliver again.
I've also fed the birds, put out the rubbish and recycling, made my bed, and got dressed - but not in that order.
piggers - gorgeous cake for a gorgeous little girl. Living in a bearpit is allowed when your children are happy, clean, fed, loved - you can live in a show house when they're all grown up - I was going to say and flown the nest, but your chicks seem to be like mine - happy to stay.xx
Coffee now - not spilled any....yet!

Morning all
Welcome squirrelgirl.
Lovely cake and photo, Piggers. I want someone to make me a cake like that!
I can’t remember yesterday afternoon, or if any flying took place. It did rain heavily for short while though. Today is beautiful, but I cba to go to the allotment, even though it should be perfect digging weather. Instead I have made a batch of rhubarb and ginger jam. DH has started to assemble my new teeny tiny shed for housing my garden tools (the aim is to get them out of his shed so that he has more room for....yet more gibble). DD is yet to surface, even though we are supposed to be taking her car out for a run to keep its battery going.I still have the stack of paperwork to do, but might go and check on the greenhouse first....procrastinate, me???7 -

Pigpen, that cake is beautiful! ❤
Wow, you're all so busy already! I've just managed to drink a couple of lattes and get a shower 😂
Dh has stripped the bed while I was in the bathroom so that is in the wm now - I'm going to get dressed and get started on clearing out the fridge ready for my first ever sm online shop to arrive tomorrow and then cook whatever needs using up 😉 Following that, I'll be doing a bit of cleaning - I've got a list of stuff I need to do so I'll report later on what I've achieved- I'm feeling pretty positive though and inspired by all the hard work you've all done while I've been laying in bed! 😂8 -

I am sitting in my allotment shed, watching the rain. I might have to admit defeat and go home! 😂⛈🌱7

I've had a big WUDUPA session and all cutlery, pots, pans, baking trays and plastics have been put away or recycled as appropriate.
I bought some H@rp!c this morning and the toilet has been liberally doused with it - the battle against limescale continues. I will win!
