It's either from date of transaction or the date the service was due to be provided.

Absolutely no luck with the bank, said because some of the holiday is going ahead can't sort out how much charge back will be due, he did say out travel agents are responsible for our refund and then they should get it off Tui. Listened to recording of the travel agent speaking to Tui today, its a call centre abroad, just don't get any sense out of them and then they hang up, travel agent has now told us to leave it with them, let the balance due date come and go and they will try and get a refund out of Tui, I'm not convinced really.0

I’m in the same position, I know Disney did offer a 35% reduction if you rebooked, they then extended that to include existing bookings but nothing was noted on my email and I’ve seen blogs that say some people are offered it and others not. Disney won’t answer this question as they say I have to speak to our tour operator. I did manage to speak to someone last week and they promised me a call back, which hasn’t happened, to be fair she did say this was new and was escalating it to the area manager . I’ve paid to get remarried there so don’t really want to rebook but honestly worried about the cost of food now and don’t know how I’m going to be able to afford food for 3 weeks for 4 adults0

Just as we were going to admit defeat we got the phone call yesterday to say we will get a refund, its really sad our dream holidays are not going ahead and also we have all learnt which are the best holiday companies to use going forward. We never particularly wanted to book with Tui again but there isnt that many holiday companies out there, so probably will end up doing so, thankyou to everybody for all the advice and support.0

Thank you to everyone who has responded and advised about our situation. The email above has arrived today (just to echo what other people have said) and is reflected in our booking on the app. the email says they will try to contact us by phone by 10th July... NB though the app says if we just cancel through the app from 3rd July we will automatically recieve a refund but we only have until 15th July to choose this option. It’s worth others who’ve had the same email checking their booking through manage my booking!
