They may try and argue it's "free" but it's not really it's included in the price you have paid and forms part of the contract.
How far would you get going into Tesco and seeing 9 eggs as marked 50% free,  and walking out with the 3 "free" eggs without paying.
The contract is by buying 6 eggs you get an extra 3 eggs, if there is actually only 6 eggs in the box, Tesco has breached the contract.

Nice way of putting it! And I agree with you - I'm just pre-empting what I think they will try and say. You never know, they may surprise me!
Anyway, I have done a bit of digging into the original paperwork that I received, and I found this clause, which i think is pretty clear. So to the original poster - I am fairly sure that TUI will have an extremely similar clause in their paperwork as all of these organisations are usually fairly comparable legally:

"7.3 If we make a major change to your holiday, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if
there is time before your departure. You will have the choice of either accepting the change of
arrangements, accepting an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from
us if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value), or cancelling
your holiday and receiving a full refund of all monies paid. In some cases, we will also pay
compensation (see below). These options don’t apply for minor changes

7.4 Examples of minor changes include alteration of your outward/return flights by less than 12 hours,
changes to aircraft type, change of airline or routing (including from non-stop to indirect flights),
change of departure airport (including change of departure airport between London Heathrow and
Gatwick or between Edinburgh and Glasgow), change of accommodation to another or higher
standard within 30 minutes/30 miles of the original accommodation or change to a cruise itinerary."

Fingers crossed, but I think that the position is rather clear that due to the cancellation of the DDP that anyone who has purchased a package holiday should really be entitled to a full refund, or at least an alternative arrangement of comparable standard (if available). But as Free DDP is not issued for dates in 2021 yet, I would say the refund is the best option, for the customer to regain power and then try and book later when the entire package suits them.

Update: I have spoken to Ocean Florida.
Despite it stating on every known news source that DDP has been cancelled up to end September 2021, Ocean Florida are saying that they still have not received official confirmation of this cancellation from Disney for the UK market. This seems mad, but I guess it's a difficult one for me to argue. I guess this is backed up on the official Disney website where the DDP is still listed on our booking (despite some of our restaurant cancellations coming through). They have said it is frustrating for them, and until they get this, they can't discuss the options properly. They have said that they are in constant communication and are expecting this to be resolved within a week.

Our payment is not due for a month yet, so I am going to leave it for a week before I revisit. I am hoping this isn't some form of delaying/deflecting tactic. If anyone has any advice on whether or not I can do anything until they get their confirmation, that would be helpful. I am struggling to find an official Disney communication with this confirmed.

Walt Disney World Resorts offer different offers and ticket types to International markets and even to the U.K. market.

I doubt they will cancel Disney Dining for only some of the markets, while allowing others markets  to eat.

Disney have cancelled the DDP, as shown on their website https://www.disneyworld.co.uk/travel-information-updates/. So I am unsure as to the confusion. I am trying to tell Ocean Florida that it has been cancelled, and they are saying they have not been notified that it has been cancelled. It puts me in a really difficult position. I felt compelled to write direct to Disney too and ask them, and am awaiting response from them also. I have now not heard from Ocean Florida since I sent them my email on Saturday morning requesting a refund on the basis of all that's already been discussed on this thread. I have a friend in the same position. Something feels wrong. Like they're delaying or something.

For the sake of closing out, and for the original poster, I do want to take this to a conclusion so that I can help/aid/advise others in this situation. I am hoping that they're simply snowed under (I imagine they will be) and they are working through the holidays on a date-by-date basis and my turn will be tomorrow!

Sadly, I heard that a friend of a friend recently paid Ocean Florida £200 to change the dates to 2021 due to the pandemic, which I think is shocking. But once they've got your money and you've made the choice to accept the alternative laid out, then you're tied in. Once they've got you I guess it's so hard to get any money back? I mean, who is realistically going to take legal action to claim moneys back???

Anyway, if anyone is interested because they are in the same boat, this is what I sent to Ocean Florida. If people are stuck for words, maybe this text could help others form the basis of a letter:

As discussed, I want to confirm my options for our package.
The options given to us by Ocean Florida either on email or on a questionnaire I filled out recently so far have been, :
    1) Cancel the holiday and lose our deposit
    2) Move the holiday to another time, and you will waive the usual admin fee. However we may have to find extra money if the new holiday costs more than the old holiday.

Both the Ts & Cs of our booking with Ocean Florida plus the The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements 2018 Regulations state that in the event of a major/significant change to our package that we are entitled to a full refund with no cancellation fee. Alternatively we can opt for an equivalent alternative. Disney have cancelled the DDP, as shown on their website
https://www.disneyworld.co.uk/travel-information-updates/ and this is undoubtedly, under any reasonable assessment, a major/significant change as this will cost me an additional £2,000-£3,000.
Unfortunately you are stating you have not been given confirmation of this, which puts me in a difficult position. I have emailed Disney with a similar message to this to seek clarification from them direct.

So far Ocean Florida have not discussed or even raised with us the option to cancel with full refund and no cancellation fee, which is disappointing.

If we were to go on the original dates, but without DDP, as stated above it will cost me a significant sum of money - money I do not have and can not 'find'. This is without even considering the impact on our dream holiday that will inevitably arise from things such as airport restrictions, flight restrictions, immigration into the USA, potential quarantine in both directions, transfer restrictions, restrictions in the accommodation, swimming pool restrictions, dining restrictions, general atmosphere/vibe, the requirement to wear masks, removal of Fastpass, etc.
I also am not prepared to move my holiday and tie myself into a new date in 2021 where the DDP can not be guaranteed, so potentially I could still suffer the same £2,000-£3,000 setback, as this is not an equivalent or similar package. .

As the DDP is cancelled and states so on the DIsney website, I would like to request a full refund without cancellation fee please. This allows me to rebook the Disney holiday we envisaged at a time that suits me and gives me the power of a new customer to scour the market for the best package at that point in time. Alternatively I am happy to discuss an option that keeps my custom with Ocean Florida, but that option would have to guarantee I am not at a financial disadvantage and that I can also benefit from the same power that a new customer would have.

Please can you help me contact me again ASAP to clarify the situation?

    Taken out of context again.

The UK and certain international markets have slightly different offers and ticket types to other markets or domestic sales.
Things like 14 days of Disney Parks for the price of 7, free Disney Dine, Free Disney spends are all promotions targeted at the UK market.   You will probably never find one or two day ticket only sales to the UK market, but will for the domestic US market. The German market has access to three day/four day tickets, rarely presold in the UK.

It's not possible to have a whole quote taken out of context(unless it's moved to another thread),  maybe you are unclear on what you were trying to say.

The thread title about Disney Dining, the topic is about Disney Dining, my comments are about Disney Dining,  my reply to you was about Disney Dining, seems a very clear  context.
