El, I would have shouted it from the rooftops had it happened earlier. I think the earliest the expect anything is mid-January. I have over £4000 riding on it, so you can see why I still hope it comes good for us! However, I know that there is every chance it will go in the banks favour, especially with the poor loves finding it difficult in the credit crunch :rolleyes:

Another day, another dollar......or not!

Skiing this morning for the kids then working this afternoon/evening for me and OH. Still not done Christmas stuff, so that won't get done today either.

Coo, looks like I'm the first one on hypno's diary this morning, how weird is that? Just looking at your post above, hypno, about the £20k challenge:


"I have just had a look at the 20k challenge. I have worked out using my snowball that if I stick to my normal snowballing payments etc I should pay off £12420.77 automatically by the end of 2008.

So, that leaves £7579 to find, of which I have already paid off £804, leaving me £6775 still to find extra, which equates to £565 a month, or £130 a week!"


I'm serious about this one, and it makes it more do-able to include regular repayments, dontcha know. I've no idea when it started, but I'm going to assume 1st December, cos I think thats about right. So the stuff in the first half of December is double counted for me, for the Olympic Challenge and Pania's challenge, but there you go, hope nobody will kick me off mse for that! I'll do some working out in a min, and update my sig.

Busy day for me today - Christmas shopping, cards, sig, preparing for a Christmas meal tonight, my bezzie mate is back from Germany for Christmas, and of course I have to get my fix of dfw! Have a good day hypno and all, see you later.

I have persuaded a reluctant OH to take the kids skiing this morning so that I can do the Christmas cards. So, no excuse for them not to be done today is there, really?
