Hiya!
How have you managed that, hypno? Is it just superficial untidiness that could be gone in five minutes? Mine's gone untidy-looking because of the Christmas cards I haven't bluetacked to the wall yet, that kind of thing. I'm up for a Sunday afternoon challenge too, thats the only time over the weekend thats reasonable. 'Ere we go.....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
It *must* be cleaner underneath the clutter that has appeared - I mean I HOOVERED for goodness sake!!
Right, better go now, need to make coffee to take with me!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

HYpno - don't know if it helps but look out for the Nutshells employment law book; easy, clear and not too involved. Think it is about £5 - you can have mine but as I did employment about 10 years ago not sure how good an idea it is! It should also be available in the library. PM me if you want it. in the meantime I taught some employment on BTEC courses (first level) and found sufficient in the business coursebooks which is why I did't bother getting any books myself. Try A Level law books in the library.
I do have some resourses (I think) from doing the PGCE still so PM me with the levels you are teaching at and I will see if what I have sill suit. Have some lecture notes games etc based on BTEC first.0 -
Aaargh, too many pages again!
Hope all's going ok, will have to try and catch up later!0 -
Thanks for all the offers of help with resources - I will look at them more carefully over the weekend and pm you with details if appropriate!!
Another day done, another day of half pay! Oh well, better than nothing, and I have spent no money today so that is good.
However, as soon as I started the car in the work car park, not one but TWO lights came on the dashboard  Hopefully both related but not a welcome sight! Will have to get it to the garage over the weekend but really really not what I wanted to see.
Oh well! Tired now, just got home from karate and now cooking dinner - Sausage chips and beans - a healthy balanced nutritious mealSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Just wanted to say hello - 'hello!'
Sounds like you've had another heavy day. It's been busy here too and really glad it's the weekend though i'm working all day tomorrow. Mind you, sometimes working on a Saturday is preferable to trying to manage OH, two children and a dog! Have a good weekend xxJanuary budget
