  • Great idea starting a new diary! That's a relief with the ski fund - a bit of breathing space and at least you know the kids will be able to go.

I don't know why, but I thought you'd been posting for more than a year - I think we started around the same time :)

    Keep up the good work!

Well done on the baring all hypno, that total will go down in no time and it will seem all the more real because you don't have the rest lurking in the back of your mind.

I'll keep my eye on your new diary, just to make sure you're getting a bit of hypno time too.

    Hi.

Well done on your honesty and I love the title of your new diary. Thought I would say good morning as well whilst I was about it.

    Morning guys!

Race training for the kids this morning then we are off out for most of the rest of the day to drop off the work that I have been doing. It is not all finished but a significant amount is, and hopefully I can get the rest done this coming week.

So, not much time for debt busting as such, but I am sure I will be able to do some brainstorming with myself while I am driving and will come up with some ideas that I can put into action in due course. OH had a call out in the night - not welcome as he needed the sleep, but very welcome as he gets paid for it!

I hope everyone has a good day xx

  • Hi Hypno

I think you're incredibly brave to get it all 'out in the open', so to speak and I for one have no doubts that you'll do it :D I'll be watching your diary with interest :)

I'm another one that can't WAIT to see the back of 2007, it's been an awful year for a variety of reasons and I can't wait for 2008, for a brand new fresh start :D

The very best of luck to you,

    Scarlett xx :)

 I was only out of touch with mse for 2 days, and you've started another diary!

Congratulations on the coming clean now - from that first post sounds like you've done some detailed work on finding the exact total (love the £0.01). I'm absolutely sure that you'll do what you're setting out to do - between the full time job, the income streams you already have, and the new plans you're obviously hatching, you'll do it! And your financial footing will be so much more secure as a result, thats great.

Lovely to see the new diary - I'll be keeping in touch as usual :rotfl: :o :coffee:

  • Just wanted to say Congratulations on your new diary :)

I will be reading with interest as I'm sure that it will be a fantastic journey to your £20K clearance throughout the year, just as your past one has.

Wow hypno you have done it and I bet it feels so much better to have that true total on your sig.

£20k is a massive target but as everyone else has said if anyone can do it its you.

You're a real inspiration to a newbie like myself and I hope to follow you on your journey and steal all your money saving/making ideas lol.

The kids are skiing outside in the pouring rain.......I am indoors watching accompanied with a trusty mug of coffee!

Told OH this morning the scary debt figure - his face paled but then he sort of shrugged it off as being "normal", which I suppose it is for us!

Referred someone to pigsback today, so hoping to get 500 points in due course - all helps in the free 2008 Xmas challenge!!
