Ooh do you mind me asking what book? Sounds like I could do with reading that :o

It is "why am I so disorganised? Sort out your stuff" by Dr Marilyn Paul.

    ISBN 0-7499-2480-2

Well worth a read, but be warned, it can be very emotional. It does tackle disorganisation in a very different way to any other "self help get your house in shape" book I have ever read!

Hey Hypno - WOW! You have yet again taken my breath away (and no, not because of the total debt) with your absolute determination, eye on the goals and motivation to ensure your kids don't miss out on this chance of a life time.

I have no doubts that you can do this, but please please ensure you take sometime for yourself so that in a few years you don' think you'd wished you'd taken some time to just enjoy the time - i know exactly what you mean about wishing the time away but as you've been recently, it can really effect your health as well as enjoyment of life.

Loving the title of the diary too - so true!! :D

Good Luck Hypno - I've been reading your last diary and can't believe how much you do. I'm sure things will be slightly less hectic now - well i hope so for your sake and sanity.

You will do it I have no doubt at all about that. When I need motivation I just read your diary and it's there in abundance. I'm so glad the skiing money isn't breathing down your neck anymore as I was worried for you. Here's to another year in a fab new job, lots of clients and serving the odd customer at the bar if you really have to!!! Go girl! xx

  • Hi Hypno.... loving the new diary..... you are very brave to bear all, and £20k in a year is a massive target, but if there's one person that can do it, its u!
Well done with the £3k for the skiing, at least that takes the pressure off a little bit.... Just make sure you don't burn urself out! U seem to be on the go all the the time.... so with ur new salaried job, plus ur clients, plus the kids, plus the debt, plus the housework, just remember to take some time for u!

Off to bed now, got to be up early in the morning for kids' race training.

Sleep well, all, and thanks for helping me stay positive with the scary numbers :D

The title of the diary says it all really, DFW has become my therapy in a way - long may it continue, and thanks for all your support :T

  • Well done on coming absolutely clean hypno - I bet you feel re-energised and full of enthusiam now! I respect your decision to think about it now, rather than in January - it is really tempting to put off problems now until January - but that's just avoidance, isn't it!?

Good luck with everything from another sad diary stalker!
