Hi Jelly babies.....of course you can pm me!
The carbs thing is always hard to start with.......but when I get into it, it is quite easy to stick to. The first few days are a nightmare - bit like a detox, so be prepared for much grumpiness in the next few days as I crave sugarSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. hi hypno, have you thought of rosemary connelys GI diet? There has been such bad press regarding the Atkins diet, that i would find it hard to reccomend to anyone. Very nice to see you around and back in the !!! kicking ways.

Don't you dare, missy!
Bob, I know exactly what you mean, but part of the reason for doing low low carbs to start with is to crack the yeast intolerance that I have - carbs feed the yeast and so to "kill" it as much as possible, the yeast needs to be starved. In France I ate so much bread and pastry that I ended up feeling really rather poorly.
Although I like the low GI diet principles as being a very healthy diet, it still has too many carbs in to kill the yeast.
Don't worry, I don't go for the atkins "as much as you can eat, all dripping in butter" type thing, but do get a lot of menu ideas from that diet.

Feeling very tired this morning, so decided to go with OH for a walk.....got about 50 yards out of the door before the heavens opened.
Tempted though we were to return home, we carried on. Now very tired.....and very wet

I confess to having put the heating on for an extra hour to help with the drying out process!
Seems to be showery for the rest of the day today - best you get out and dodge those raindrops to go and see DP!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
