A good start would be to join or at least look through the £10 a day challenge - loads of easy ideas there, and if you can make £10 a day extra, then that is over £300 a month!!

    I lurrrve this site

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi Mooloo

It is the small things that add up - and knocking down regular costs like groceries is where you can make real savings - so well done on that. I need to tackle that next - have let household expenses slip. :o Then I think I will do a Flylady-style "27 Fling Boogie" - only instead of finding things to throw out I will find 27 things for eBay!

Mizmir - free bingo is def worth a try - have a look on the gambling thread for the current list. I made over £700 in a weekend from it, although I know that was more than most!

You're not alone taxi, I couldnt set up a spreadsheet to save my life.

And mizmir, i like your attitude on ebay. I joined the MAD ebay challenge recently but so far have only managed to list six things, pathetic! I'll try to find 27 things to list too.

Ooh look, we're all congregating on hypno's thread again.

A belated welcome back Hypno - hope you had a lovely lunch today and that you get sorted with spreadsheets, once you've got the hang of it they're really easy and very helpful with tracking stuff - mine look like a rainbow so many colours and things linked etc but they're helpful to me which is what matters I think!

Had a good trip to the city - lunch was lovely. I am trying to eat a sort of atkins-type "diet" to combat the overkill in carbs that I had in France, which in turn will hopefully help me lose weight, and will help with the yeast intolerance that I have.......so I had a lovely antipasti platter.....no bread, but lots of yummy stuff!

Then I went to the library and got out the Atkins books - just for ideas really, and a couple of novels, and a Spreadsheets for dummies type book so I will have a look through those over the next few days.

Then the shop where OH has one of his many part time jobs is having a refit sale, and everything is half price, so I did some shopping for the present cupboard.

I also tried on some clothes in the sales, but decided to lose the weight first before I consider buying anything for work.

I have to go to college this evening, so nothing else planned for the next couple of hours other than reading and coffee!

Hope everyone is ok - the sun is shining here and it is beautifully springlike.
