I'd echo what Taxi said..... £55k in less than three years is no small job! And no doubt you will bring it forward!

Hi Mooloo ..hope you are claiming tax credits for yourself and housing benefit etc..as that is low..sorry for the hijack Hypno0

Good news about the rebate. Had forgotten that another tax year has ended - I always do my accounts on January 30th!!
Must have a look and see if I might have something coming. If I do I will send them in - if not hold them back to the last minute!!
I think you are doing brilliantly. Inspiration to us all. :T0 -
I think someone has stolen the hours between when I went to bed and when my alarm went off!!
Today, I am heading off into the city for lunch with an old colleague, and to take some cheques to the bank. Then this evening I am at college, although I could quite do without going, TBH.
So in between times I will continue with operation organisation! Maybe!
Mooloo - even though your income is low, you can supplement it hugely by using some of the ideas on MSE. Before I returned to work, my income from self employment was incredibly low, and the difference between that and what we needed to pay for bills and debts etc, was all made from ideas that I got from MSE. So have a mooch around the various boards and I am sure you can soon be richer!

Yep I second that, my income from my job is low too, I bring home £633 month, although I do get tax credits and maintenance from ds father which boosts it. I reckon I make £200-£300 a month extra from stuff I've learned on here though, mystery shopping, bingo, ebay, surveys, quidco etc etc ... hopefully this will soon be even higher when the matched betting gets off the ground
Also, check out the boards for grabbit quick ideas and discount codes, it can all make a massive difference

Morning - its lovely and bright and crisp here this morning.
have a well deserved lunch out Hypno - mines a bowl of cereal again !!!!0 -
I have just read through I-A's new diary and I am very jealous of her spreadsheet creating abilities.
So.....while I am at lunch, OH is going to see what spreadsheet for dummies type books they have in the library and see if I can qualify for any sort of free workshop while i am "between jobs".....
I want to be able to do shiny fancy spreadsheets......but can only do basic ones that I can't transfer/amend/make colourful etc!
All counts in the "getting organised" mission.....
(am also jealous of I-A's weight loss, but that can't be fixed with a book from the library and a one day workshop.......sadly!)Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thanks everyone. Yes those that know me, know that I am claiming as much as I can at the moment. Although I am still awaiting to hear what the housing benefit changes will be now that I have gone back to work, and no longer on the SSP. I think I am scared of some of the things that are money making on here:eek: . I must be more dilligent and get myself off the bottom rung of the ladder. My Grocery Challenge is about the only really seriously effective one I do do.
I have "saved" £18 approx by standing my ground with Thames Water and insisting that they take the reading I gave them when I moved in here, and not the one that was read by the previous people. In the first month that was half the bill they had charged me. I got a phone call yesterday from them agreeing to my letter. So again I have realised that it is better to put things into writing instead of arguing on the phone.
I did also compare my contents insurance, and got that for £78.95 instead of the renewal cost of £109.55. I am learning people I am. :TWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
