Thats exactly how I did it it many years ago - DD was put on a gluten free diet, and I went on it to keep her company. I felt better almost instantly, so went for tests of my own.

The trip was good - a long drive but worth it.....seems ages ago already!

    Morning guys!

Well, yesterday, due to severe lack of energy and just feeling "flat" about things, I did very little that involved moving away from the sofa.

so, I need to do more today, other wise I will start on that downward spiral again.

Pania is popping in for coffee early on this morning, and then I WILL do my accounts - they are almost done, but I just have one more box of papers to go through, so there is no reason why they cannot be finished today.

I also have a couple of surveys in my inbox that I can do, and bits and pieces like that - plenty to keep me occupied.......when I get moving :o

Have a good day everyone xx

    Morning!

Good luck with the accounts - I'm impressed you're tackling them so early!
re. Not being able to get on with anything - you have my sympathy. My "to do" list has 39 items overdue and I still struggle to get going most of the time. One thing I have found useful is to set myself a mini task which starts me off but is not as daunting as the whole thing. Just doing something can get me going. And loads of treats for mini milestones!

    Have a good day!

Morning everyone! Hypno, don't be hard on yourself - perhaps a day or two on the sofa is just what you need.

I'm going to be doing my tax return soon too - but not because I expect a rebate alas. I just want to know how much I save for next January.

Have a good day one and all. I'm scrabbling to send off some bits of work before going to the post office at 9 - then really hope not to work much this afternoon. But I've got a magazine going to print tomorrow, which is always stressful with last minute changes and proofs going backwards and forwards.

    Catch you all later.

    hi you two!

I am doing my accounts early because I paid tax at full rate on all my "employed" earnings last year, and the tax man will not apply my tax code to any employed earnings until I have proved that I did not use it in my self employed earnings, if you see what I mean!

So, unless I get my accounts finalised and in before I start work at the new job in a couple of weeks, i will be paying tax at basic rate on my full earnings, which is just daft when I am now earning very little from self employment.

normally I am not this eager to get paperwork in, but there is a financial incentive involved, so it moves up the priority list somewhat!

I hope to be able to post that it is all complete by the end of the week, hopefully by the end of today!

Good luck Hypno - it's a tedious task, I'll be thinking of you.

My other option is to do the ironing.............but that is even more tedious, so the accounts win today!!
