10 am I think, benben.
I am dreading the "camera puts on 10lbs" effect, and the fact that I was rushing around so much that day I failed to disguise the bags under my eyes etc
Hopefully it will remind me, though, that my house CAN be tidy.........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Not until after we get back from France........The next batch of payments will come out when we are in France and until then there is no room for overpayments sadly.
Once I get back from France and I know where we "are" then I will be hitting it BIG time!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

PVR all set up. Are the kids watching with you?No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Yes, the children are with me..........time for another couple of cups of coffee before the programme starts.
OH is at work so he will miss it.....
On a moneysaving theme, I have just opened an ISA online and paid yesterday's client money into it. I *know* that saving isn't the best idea when you have debt but I need to do things to the house, otherwise we will end up spending more in the long run, so hopefully this will help to protect the investment and therefore is very moneysavingexpert friendly
So.....once I start work in the new job my money allocations will be as follows:
OH pay - mortgage and household bills.
My pay - debt minimum payments and money towards kids skiing
Client money - in ISA towards windows and other house improvements. If we manage to save more, then it will go towards a lump sum payment so we can clear the secured loan (currently £11500)
Other MSE money (quidco, ebay, mystery shopping £10 a day challenge money, etc etc) = debt overpayments.
So simple, really :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I do know what you mean about it costing more in the long run - one of the windows I have to replace, for instance, is on the weather-side of the house, and the internal plaster around it has blown - three times, now, I've had rain dripping on the inside of the window when the window itself is completely closed! Not nice. So I'm completely with you on this one!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
