I have made a start on the kitchen too - definitely out of character :p

I HAVE to have the whole house tidied before I go away, and I have to have the bits that are on show to everyone (so basically everything bar the bedrooms) done by Tuesday because our lodger has visitors from Norway coming over to stay

I am gearing up to a personal housework challenge........if I can get the house sorted, I can then get a cleaner in.......now there's an incentive for me.

    Sad life I lead :rotfl:

just a shame I don't have a whole day to devote to the challenge - I could certainly do with it.......perhaps it has to be "over the course of the next week" challenge type of thingy.....

i'm in if you are......but I won't be tackling my cupboards just yet......that is a scary scary scary prospect, and one that I am not emotionally ready for yet.

If I was near you I'd come and clean - and iron , I amazingly don't mind either, sat in a friend's very dusty messy flat the other day desperately resisting the urge to do anything about it ;).

My mum, despite having a very busy job with long hours, doesn't have a cleaner - says she'd worry too much about tidying up before they come so I can understand the whole tidying up for the cleaner thing!

Hope you have a good weekend Hypno and everyone else :waves:
