Thanks benben, although the pay £20k challenge started on 1st December, so a little more than 6 weeks.......if only I could pay that amount off in 6 weeks, each and every 6 weeks, I would be laughing!!

I can't wait and hadn't realised until I deducted the £1800 off the total..it was only in July that I owed £42k...(when I bought the new cab)...it'll go up when I put the total off the mortgage on the debt though...0

Gosh Hypno that's amazing progress! Haven't poked my head into your diary for a while but keep seeing the incredible figures in your signature.. to be honest it makes me feel a bit silly that I'm worrying about trying to pay off £10k in two years!
Have a good day at the ski clubx

At the end of the day, Squirrel, as long as the debt comes down, and you don't kill yourself stressing over doing it, does it matter how long it takes? The main thing is that it IS going down, and won't EVER go back up again.....so carry on as you are, you are doing well!
I get a bit obsessive sometimes with the debt, but then with the figures I have to deal with, that is probably a good thing :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Wow :j Wow :j Wow :j
Amazing. It can get obsessive, can't it - but when you see results like yours, its hard to argue with obsession! And another long day for you. I just did 5 minutes tidying, hauling myself away from research on the computer that I've *no* intention of seeing through today, telling myself to get on with it, and stop feeling sorry for myself (wasn't! don't know where that came from, honest). "Do a hypno!". That will be the new refrain. Thanks, kiddo!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
