At the end of the day, Squirrel, as long as the debt comes down, and you don't kill yourself stressing over doing it, does it matter how long it takes? The main thing is that it IS going down, and won't EVER go back up again.....so carry on as you are, you are doing well!

I get a bit obsessive sometimes with the debt, but then with the figures I have to deal with, that is probably a good thing :rotfl:

You are right of course Hypno, it would be so nice to meet my target of DF by 30 but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't. Have been feeling a bit guilty about spending as much of the 'extra' money on things rather than putting it towards the debt, but at the end of the day mine's all at 0% interest now so it only makes a difference in time rather than cost. And it certainly won't be going up again, I've learned my lesson, which I suppose is the most important thing!!

Well done to the kids - that is fantastic! :T

One or two lessons is not bad is it - he will be up and running by the end of the month.
Group lessons aren't so bad. Individual lessons are £49 each which is pushing it.so he can wait it out

I have done something this morning that may be a bit foolish, but ho hum, I have done it anyway........

I have paid off my family debt :j

whilst this will not leave me short (says she hoping the numbers on the calculator are right) it will make things tight for February, but tight is still do-able when you are a seasoned DFW!!

So, next target MBNA.............and only 581 lots of £100 until I am debt free :T !

Well done on getting another debt off your sig line Hypno! those £100 will be dropping like nothing on earth soon (are you snowballing - if so which do they recommend clearing first?)

Just nipping on while I am working in the bar......

The money the children have got will pay for a week's tuition in March, so that is a great help.

Pania has just turned up....better go serve her :D

    hey hypno!

I'm well impressed with how well you are doing on the £10 a day thread i thought i better pop across and have a look at your diary and its fab.

You've inspired me to start my own diary (which is probably very boring..zzzzz!!) and try and hit my own debts even harder!

keep up the fab work... i'll be lurking!
