  • Thanks for all your inspiration Hypno06.

You are doing so well, well done.

How do you keep motivated? I have bursts of energy with it all but at times, like today, I see the huge task in front of me rather than how far I've already come. I'm a glass half empty girl!

    Hi there!

I keep motivated by coming on here every day - if I didn't, then I know that it would be very easy to say "stuff it" and let the debt get the better of me.

I think one big part of my motivation is that I used almost every penny of the money that I got when my Dad died, to reduce the debt. So, if I fail at paying the rest off, it means that his life's work has also gone to waste because I will have wasted the money that he left me, if that makes sense.

I like to think that Dad is looking down (or up!) from wherever, and is spurring me on to carry on the debt busting. He always wanted to be able to help out with the children when they go to University - he always said that he wanted to help them at that point, so I really want to be debt free before they go to Uni (5 years) so that I can help them out, just as he would.

So, stick with us, workinghard, it is difficult when you are in it for the long haul, but reducing my figures in my signature gives me a buzz so I carry on!

I have just checked out my boots points on boots.com and I have £9.86 worth, which is enough to get my littlest nephew something decent, so happy there!!

I have just checked my Boots points too. We're that short of cash at the moment, I'm trying to think of anywhere and everywhere I could get a little extra from. Anyway my points balance is £11.95.

What a shame Boots dont sell blimmin turkeys :rotfl:

    Thanks guys!

just done my piggy clicks, and I am 25 points off getting my next voucher. I don't expect it will come through in time for this Christmas but it gives me a good start for next Christmas's freebies!!

Just a quick post from me to say hi and well done on that Christmas shopping - pressie boxes are great aren't they!

Feeling a bit better and last night got home sat in a comfy chair with a blanket and watched rubbish tele all night with OH's laptop and went through all the emails in my 'surveys and click thrus' email and did any that were still active and deleted those who aren't and now I'm sorted and managed to check twice today at work and hopefully I'll keep this up.

Hope you enjoy the concert tonight!

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, YL. Take it easy and make sure you recover properly, otherwise you will wear yourself out.

Good for you though, catching up on surveys etc. I hope we all get lots of good ones through over the next few weeks - will give everyone's new years challenges a good boost!

Morning! The concert last night was fab, but my feet hurt all through the night, and are still protesting this morning!!

At the uni today for a day's work so no time for MSEing today! Then off for a meal with the other therapists nearby for Christmas - I have paid about half so far, so just have to find the balance, and as I am driving I can get away with a low drinks bill.

Have a good day, everyone xx

  • Good Morning, hypno.

So glad the concert was good and you've another treat instore today too. You always put everyone else first so it's great that you've managed to grab a little bit of fun for yourself:beer:

I'm a bit disillusioned with some of the survey companies I'm signed up to as just recently I keep being screened out after starting the questionnaires:mad: . It hardly ever happened before. Have you noticed anything strange with yours?

I hope your feet don't give you too much 'gyp'(sp:confused: ) today.
