Hey ISOM, I hope you enjoyed that wine :D:D Yes, Human League were very good - even better than first time round in my opinion.

Went for the meal last night. It was ok, but not fantastic. I started to panic when they were talking about simply splitting the bill regardless of what people were having to drink and the couple opposite were ordering bottles of wine like there was no tomorrow, and I made do with one cup of coffee throughout!

But at the end, I stood my ground, and only paid for what I had had, plus my share of a tip.

Today I don't have a lot planned, so I am planning to do not a lot :rotfl: Will just see how the day pans out.....

Have a good one everybody xx

Have a good day, hypno and all :j

Well, in saying not a lot, I mean that I don't have anything formal planned - I have already done some ironing, and have lots more to do housework wise. Also have some urgent admin to do and want to go to Boots. But I don't have any clients, or uni work, or anything like that to get in my way.

I would like to go to Boots later today and get the last couple of Christmas presents sorted, but not sure if I will get that far.

But that is pretty relaxed for me, so it will just have to do!!

 :kisses3: awww, you know I'm only joking, don't you? You're a mum, and you're bound to have a load of stuff like that to do at any time of year, let alone all the Christmassy stuff. I hope you get the trip out to Boots, its nice to get out of the house when you have an indoor day otherwise.

    xx

The weather here is really horrid! Although I quite want to go out to get some bits and pieces done, I really don't fancy going outside if the weather is going to be that miserable!

Hopefully the sun will make an appearance later in the day and I will be encouraged outside.......if not, then an indoor day it may be! I could turn it into a DFW day by playing bingo for bonuses.....:o

Keep on hoping for the sun - we're just in the middle of a sunny break, and the way the wind is, it'll be with you in about half an hour! Mind you, bingo bonuses don't sound half bad either.,,

Morning Hypno, haven't been online for a couple of days hope you are well.

I did the bingo sites and won £60 but it was so boring lol, left it playing in the background whilst I did other stuff.:D

Hi SSL! I saw something you wrote on another thread recently and made a mental note to mention it, but can't now for the life of me remember what it was about..........that will teach me not to post at the time!

I have just complained to the book people - got a "lucky dip for teens" package (through quidco and with a free delivery code from here of course) sent through ages ago and put it in the present cupboard. Took them out to start allocating and whilst the majority are things like "hollyoaks" "bend it like beckham" and other suitable "teen" stuff, one is very definately not!

The book is 4 short stories and the blurb on the back says "the subject of all four stories is sex" and "2 extracts from the diary of hedonist extraordinaire" etc etc. I read the book (just to check obviously before I complained) and it most definitely is not for the age group they were aiming it at

Thankfully I didn't just package up the book as a present for one of the kids.....

They say they will send me a replacement.........will probably be at the other end of the spectrum and I will get bob the builder or somesuch!
