Oh Hypno, what a nightmare. I was doing a search for toys under a tenner yesterday and the first on the list was a erm adult toy. Just as well I didnt ask DD to do the search. I'm sure it was Boots or Woolworths!!
Was it the panto? I am still covered in glitter! Really getting into it and enjoying vegging through the day. But I did get all my Christmas shopping done yesterday except Mum and Dads, so not beating myself up about not doing much housework. I cant believe I've not used quidco before!0 -
toys for under a tenner  :rotfl:
The sun has made an appearance........but do I really have to move from the sofa?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I have just made £16.14 bonus bagging - not bad for an hour stuck to the sofa!! Off to put the kettle on to celebrate!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Yay for the sofa! I was stuck to mine earlier, making myself sit down for a bit cos I'll be home late tonight, but then I spoilt it by vacuuming - there's floor visible now that hasn't seen the light of day for 6 months or so! My living room is going to look so nice when I get the tree up, and its all thanks to you and your diary, hypno, I'd never have made this push otherwise - I think you deserve an extra [STRIKE]half[/STRIKE] hour on the sofa for that :A2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Glad that the housework thing is having results - my bedroom is STILL tidy!!
(rest of the house a total tip, but my room is tidy, which surely shows that it is everyone else responsible for the state of the house, not me)
A friend popped over for coffee unexpectedly so that is another hour wasted......if I keep going like this I will have had something approaching a DAY OFF
It is almost time to think about what to do for lunch, and whether I should change out of my sloppy joggers and go to Boots.............decisions, decisions!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yup, sitting here in my joggers thinking, okay, I have to have a bath, I have to wash the dishes, and I have to prepare some food to take with me. And I have to leave at 2pm..... Rats - that means I have to get going. Ah well, my clean little house will welcome me back - bye for now!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

In pursuit of the free Christmas 2008, I have been doing survey stuff - won't get rich on it but every little helps, and have applied for a couple of freebies on the board that I can use in hampers.
I also did a bit of quidco clicking etc. I realised I will soon have to pay another £5 membership fee for them as I have been with them almost a year, so better get some money in the pot in order that they can take what they need and still make me a payout! I am not using quidco money for the free christmas challenge, because I use it to make overpayments to the debt instead.
Off to take the kids to karate now, then need to do some supervising at the ski club, so will be back later this evening. I hope you have a good evening!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Arrrggghhh, I've just been caught out by the same thing Hypno. I set my minimum payment to £100, got to £90 and then they took another £5 off me! Nothing much has become payable recently either.
Do you want a second opinion on the saucy book by the way?? :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
