Thanks hypno and Snaggles.
Sounds brilliant. Definitely one to go for I think:j
P.S. Definitely last question on the subject! Are these hols for families or could I still get one just on my own? If I don't get away somewhere really cheap(but not nasty) this year I'll lose the plot!0 -
You can prob go on your own, but might have to pay for 2 as a minimum - even so, £19 for a break is not to be sneezed at!
I am just popping on here before getting on with my day to go :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
I have just had the phonecall that says I am cleared to work!! Yee hah!! I could have started tomorrow, but I have so much to do with getting the children away at the weekend, getting the car in the garage again tomorrow etc, that it is better to start on Monday.
So, at least I can get paid at the end of January :j :j Happy New Year, ME!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
You have to pay for 4 people even if less than four go, sorry.

Yay! Super news! Bet you can't wait! :j
Re the Sun holidays - it's a good few year since we've been on one but we did a few when DD was small. It may even be that you have to pay for a minimum of four people unless terms have changed. It used to be £15 per person, then so much per night for gas / elec and so much per person for an entertainment pass if you want one. Think it usually used to cost us around £110 for four people. We stayed at some lovely places though - only ever got one that was horrible (probably better not disclose where!) and that one wasn't one our list of choices - we were just given it!
Actually we might think about doing that this year - we won't be going far with a new baby.0 -
wahey for starting work!! :jBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi Hypno
I always read your diary as I have said before, I just wanted to say I'm really pleased for getting the all clear to start your job. Its great news.
I got a job I really wanted last year after alot of study and I was so pleased. It was a little stressful at first being the new girl etc and also no one had done my job before so although its nice to have a blank canvas there is alot of working setting up systems etc but it was nice 'stress' if there is such a thing because it is the job I wanted and I knew it would get easier once I had evrything in place.
As for leaving assignments to the last minute I always did that too but I always did better work that way. If I started it earlier I was a bit laid back about it and didn't put my all into it if that makes sense?
Anyway well done and good luck for Monday.0
