(no, not because we have nicked them, but because they are handed down....honest :rotfl: )

well, we went to the ski club for a ski, and it was very busy and only one person in the bar with too much work for one, so I gallantly stepped in (thinking nothing of double time on bank holidays) and worked for three hours until it quietened down!

So, an extra £30 ish after tax will be in my pay at the end of the month :j

Then made bubble and squeak with fried eggs for dinner when we got home. Yum yum!!

Nothing planned for this evening, except name tapes and MSE.....not necessarily in that order!!

Hope you are all having a good evening xx

Not bad for 3 hours work! Good on you for spotting the opportunity!

We have just been playing Deal or No Deal (I got the game for Xmas), and I lost in quite spectacular fashion, which just goes to prove that I am even rubbish with pretend money... :rotfl:

Have a good evening and make sure you have plenty of breaks from the name tags. :D

Hi Mooloo do you mind me asking why your daughter can not do the night shift for her child herself?

Also re the £60 are they not willingly/understandingly handing over the money to you?

I have read your posts and it sounds bl00dy hard work for you at the moment but good for you as where would the girls be without you... You should be proud of yourself.

I hope the money, car and house situation all get sorted soon.

Are there no grants available to help you out?

Hi Keeping motivated. Think I need your motto.!
Twin 2 is struggling to get the baby to sleep. He is very sicky, and she cant really cope with him. She panics when he is sick, and he goes blue she freaks out a bit. so by midnight I seem to be in the chair for a while. Adverage up to about 2 then I hand him back if I havent managed to get him to sleep!. Mind you last night being new year, it was 10 to 4 this morning when I woke her back up and said I couldnt do it anymore. I was knackered.

Re the money, twin1 tends to give me what she hasnt spent. was around £15 a week, when I was working. But now I am not at work I cant pay the bills on my own, so I thought it only fair they have to pay me.
Twin 2s money has not yet come through, so I have been supporting her for the last month, and then before I was always pulling her and the BF out of the mire!! But nolonger able to . I have arranged for her income support and child tax credits , and even the childbenefit to be paid into my bank account, so tht I can help her sort out the debts that she is in. so really she wont get much choice about paying me.
thankyou for the praise, I sometimes feel that I am climbing a mountain that just keeps getting higher!!.

I amnot sure if I can get any grants, but I will be looking for a solicitor in the next few days and asking them to help me sort things out? Then I will be asking for everything and anything I can to help. The social would have to pay several hundred pounds a week out to care fortwin2 and her baby if I had refused them home. So yes I am saving them a fortune.

Re the car, I think that I have had it, I cant find the money to get it fixed, its going to be around £800 they say, and thats if they can find a cheapish second hand engine. But of course there isnt one of them available at the moment. I think I have managed to save £500 last year. (its in my mums account becuase of the bankruptcy). So I will just have to hang on a bit longer.
Heres hoping that 2008 gets me a bigger home, and the girls learn the skills that will help them.

Thanks for eveyones concerns. Thanks Hypno for letting me on your thread. I think you saved my sanity many a time over the last month.

Happy New Year everyone - gosh i go away for 4 days and have 10 pages to catch up on!! :rotfl:

Glad everyone had a good new year - its rained and rained and rained in Cumbria but we had a nice break.

Looking forward to the challenges of 2008 - trying to pay of loan - (reminder to self never to take a mortgage again with a facility to draw on house equity!!!! ) as well as saving to go to USA for Christmas and New Year to see my sister.

Anyway Good luck to everyone - Hypno you've got to be the biggest inspiration to us all.
