Hi
Just popping in to say Happy new year to you and your family.
Have a safe trip to France

Thanks YM, I am not driving to France, OH is taking the kids over. Because we can't get the big car fixed, he is planning on taking the Ibiza over - not much room for 2 kids plus ski kit (esp given that they have 8 pairs of skis, plus we rashly said we would take a pair over for another child  )
So, no room for me in the car.........I will stay at home, see a client, do my bar work, and start on the house.........perhaps the car journey is the easier option after all!!

OOOhhh. The peace and quiet of an empty house. Dont get into watching Jeremy Kyle or you are doomed forever :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
May the new year bring you loads of achievments and happiness.

Morning all
I hope you hear soon about your start date Hypno-it's not so much when as not been able to plan that is so frustrating I think.
I spent last night putting together the final details for our summer holiday and costing it all out and chatting to the friends we are going with. It's a lot of travelling for 2 weeks but I worked out some REALLY good deals. Putting together American trips was always my favourite part of been a travel agent. Moneywise it is affordab le but only if I'm a good DFWer for the next six months. I'm allowing myself one prebooked lapse in May but otherwise this coming six months is all about saving and getting DS through his GCSEs.
Can't work out how to post an image but here's one of our stops http://www.driftwoodlodge.net/ Hopefully this photo will keep me on the straight and narrowI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Watching Jeremy Kyle makes me think that my life is actually quite ordered, and that my children are actually well grounded young citizens! Without Jeremy Kyle's show to compare my life to, I might worry :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Duchy, that trip sounds fab!!
I mentioned to Pania when she was here yesterday that we may go for the Sun £9.50 option this year.....at least we would get a holiday which is more than we did last year (a family holiday, not ski stuff which doesn't ever include all of us!!).
OK, so for my productive day.......I am not doing that well.......although I have done some number crunching and spreadsheet stuff, I am still in my dressing gown.........so, off to have a shower and get dressed and grab another coffee to help my brain recover from the number crunching, then will actually do something!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oh, forgot to mention, that today one of my difficult tasks is to rid the house of all chocolate and cake ready for a healthy start to 2008.....
wonder how I will do that :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
