Several coffees already under my belt El, and plenty more to get me through the day yet!! I hope you have a good sleep, and that you don't get disturbed by "things to do" going round in your head!!

I have just written to barclays to close my business account - their fees do not justfy the level of business I will be doing once I am back to work, so it gave me great pleasure to send back my card in lots of bits and pieces asking for confirmation that it has been closed!!

Also asked for credit expert to be cancelled - I see no point in checking my credit file regularly when it just makes me depressed! I will check it when I need to only.

Finally, cancelled Audible which I did through quidco for cashback......getting lots crossed off my list today :T

Just popping in to gloat that I well and truly nailed the Ebay challenge yesterday!!! I listed (well, relisted!) all 341 items, which included all the really old listings which needed stuff amending before Ebay could accept them - been putting them off for ages! Thank goodness for a quiet day at work, otherwise I'd have got nothing done at all. Hope you have a successful day as well - sounds like you're off to a good start with your pound coin - I found a 1p in my handbag this morning and thought I was doing well!

Sitting here today, and desperate to do something to make money. Been on Pigsback, Quidco etc, mystery shop sites, checked for surveys, but there's nothing new that I can see. At work, so (thankfully!) can't slice the pie at the moment - any ideas of anything I've missed?

Hi PP!! Well done you on the ebaying - I have not started yet. I am trying at the moment to get some name tapes in the kids clothes ready to send away. I have cheated and am doing the iron on version, but that means I have to iron as well......... It is pretty time consuming as EVERYTHING including socks and pants needs to be named before they go on Saturday!!

As for extra money making ideas while at work......can't think of anything except checking the freebies board to see if there is anything you can send off for?

Never mind! Been extremely busy for the past hour doing real work for a change, might take a look on the freebie board although I always sign up for freebies and they never arrive! Just remembered that there are some bingo sites that I couldn't bring myself to sign up to - if I get desperate I might do that!

Have you got any futher with the plans to get a cleaner or were you waiting until you started work properly?

Hi everyone, thought I was going to have a nsd, but twin 1 borrowed £15 cos she couldnt find her purse. I have been attempting to do a few bits on Pigs Back etc but to be honest I havent a clue what I am doing. I signed up for Topcashback and quidco over the weekend. But still not sure yet whats occurring. I will get it by the end of 2008!!!
Went to bed around 10 last night, all these late nights is knackering me. But I was still up at 1.45 with BBJ.!!
Oh to be able to go and stay at BF for a night again!! Apart from the obvious bonus of course.
Escaped for 55 minutes, for a walk around Sandford Lock, got a few funny looks as I had fashion shoes on, not walking boots!! Ah well, Hadnt known I was going before I got there!!. Had a few funny looks from the fishermen and the lock keeper, but never mind. It was lovely to just see the ducks, swans etc and few people. The best was just being away from Babies for a bit.
Trying to do as advised and look at it as a job. (vocation?). Get time off for good behaviour for 2 hours tomorrow, I hope.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • Hi Mooloo do you mind me asking why your daughter can not do the night shift for her child herself?

Also re the £60 are they not willingly/understandingly handing over the money to you?

I have read your posts and it sounds bl00dy hard work for you at the moment but good for you as where would the girls be without you... You should be proud of yourself.

I hope the money, car and house situation all get sorted soon.

Are there no grants available to help you out?

:j Oh my God and flippin' heck I've done it at last. I have read Hypno's diaries from start to finish (it's only taken me 3 months) and have caught up with TODAY! I am here to mark my achievement with a post and then flop bleary-eyed onto my keyboard.
Hypno you're fab and have achieved miracles.

I will post something more articulate another time. Right now I have to go and sort out my twitching eyes and lightly LCD-tanned face.........:rotfl:

Miss Bez, you deserve a sit down, a brandy and a medal for reading through BOTH diaries!!!!

So, now I can say Hello!! I hope that the last three months have not been too tedious for you and that you have at least managed to eat and drink occasionally, not to mention sleep :p

Will reply to everyone else in a mo - am eating my dinner while typing which is very good table manners and something that I would yell at anyone else here for doing, but as we are eating on the sofa tonight, I am sneaking in a quick post!
