    my engine management light is staying on how cn i find out what the problem is,and is it safe to still drive with i on?cheers

    You need to get it plugged in to one of the fancy computer things that mechanics have, then this produces a code and the mechanic can find out what part of the car/engine/stuff it relates to.

    It could be something completely insignificant like a sensor that needs a clean, or it could be something major like a problem with the gearbox, so there is no way of initially knowing whether it is safe to drive as it is.

    Get it to a local mechanic, and ask them to put it on their computer, they will charge you for it but hopefully not as much as a main dealer.

    Hosing isnt very DFW - it's a bit wasteful ;)
